Q: Hiw do the sizes run?

They run A bit bit big II recommend getting the size that you get with other gloves. I always worn between large and medium and I got medium. Overall good

Q: Are this gloves durable enough for a construction worker to use?

I would say, yes, with the caveat that all gloves wear out and some are more job specific. It also depends on the type of construction work. If you are working with concrete blocks everyday, than like all gloves they will wear out quickly. For concrete workers I'd suggest a masonry glove. That said, for general outside work (agricultural, forestry, carpentry, etc.) these are still my favorite gloves. They wear better than straight leather and offer much better protection against thorns and splintering wood.

Q: Do these gloves have thinsulate in the them?

No thinsulate. Just leather, but they are high quality thick leather work gloves.
