It’s a small, light weight tool with a powerful magnetic pull. it gets the job done and the price is affordable. The material appears to be durable. I really like this magnetic telescope.

Good magnet. Tested the pull by successfully & completely picking up a 25 lb barbell plate. Magnet has a good flat circular surface area over 3 inches. The magnets housing & telescopic handle appear to be chrome or stainless steel hence hopefully rust proof. I purchased this to probe down into groundcover like pacasandra to remove roofing nails that the 17 inch magnetic sweeper on wheels would not get down close enough to pull nails. The only negative, that was easily resolved was to place and twist tie a plastic sandwich bag over the open exposed magnet to prevent roofing staples & moisture from embedding deep inside the head of the magnet. Works well !!!!! I recommend product !!!

This little gadget is awesome. Picks up everything you need. Easy to use. Telescopic so you can take it anywhere. Best little tool for the money.

I bought this to pick up nails out of my burn pit after burning construction project. I’m not sure if it does, but it seems like it picked up every single nail that was in there the extender is sort of flimsy, however, this does not affect the magnet. I’m not sure why you would need a stronger extension if you’re just using it for your shop floor or bonfire pit.

Need to pick up a small piece of ferrous metal that is 8.6 to 33inches away? Well have a got an item for you! Collapses well. east to maintain, easy size to store, will pick up multiple screws/nails. Helps clean up the the garage or driveway after projects. This will not pick up gold, so if you are in the woods looking for a magical ring to open a portal to the land of Fairyland you are going to be disappointed. For a number of reasons. Anyway, I hope you have good luck getting small pieces of ferrous metal from the ground (or sky, I don't judge) Comes in a polished metal color. Also, if you are hoping to mess with your coworker with a nose ring, bad news, that's likely surgical steel and it's not going to work :(

Good magnet but the handles are made poorly they break off easily

Used this to clean up about 300 nails out of the grass, worked like a charm. Love how the handle is telescopic so makes it easy to store.

The Magnet is very strong, terlescopic handle is not strong enough broke with just the weight of the magnet attached to it, now have to return the unit to get a refund Amazon cannot replace the unit. Do not bother with this item
