Very handy tool for moving veg or meat to the hob. It can also be used to crush garlic fairly easy. Definitely a useful tool for any kitchen.

I have bought alot of Amazon Basics products and I have to say its far from what the name suggests. Never just basic its a leading brand and keeps up with the leading brands as for quality but at a reduced price. Not your No Frills cheap stuff at all, its great quality and built as it should. Such a sturdy device and well built. Has the measurements on the steel to allow you to know your dough length when you need, nice sturdy thick plastic handle to hold well and solid steel to cut your dough. Cant go wrong at all. Well packaged too has its own box instead of just loose in a 10 foot box like you'd normally get with something this size. Amazon are really on the up and I hope greed doesn't kick in anytime soon as they could own the market of everything they out the mind too.

I bought this scraper tool to help me when making dough, I always found that some of my dough would stick to the table and I had seen in lots of recipe videos online that they used one of these scrapers to combat this. I found that when using this item I never encountered this again. I also found it useful for cutting dough into several pieces when weighing them out - I did this for a doughnut recipe, and the scraper worked perfectly for this. Considering the price I paid the quality is top-notch, and it is an affordable addition to any home cook's equipment
