Hayward EC65BLP System III Base Pak for EC65/EC75 Less Pump for Super or Super II Pump

The major problem Is that the base is designed with the pump on the right side of the filter. This was never mentioned in the description. My lines are underground with the pump on the left and would require a plumbing rework. My only option was to drill new holes in the base and not use any of the predrilled holes. I see no reason why the base can not be made for the pump to be on either side. Spraying foam insulation inside the base does reduce the noise.

This base does make our equipment look much neater and takes up less space than our old arrangement, which I like. But, the base is hollow, so it amplifies the noise from the pump and filter. We filled the base with spray foam insulation to try to muffle the noise, and it worked better than without. But, it is still makes pool equipment, which is noisy enough on its own, noisier.

Base arrived in damaged container. Other than a few scratch marks, everything is okay.

Replaced original without needing to re-plumb.

Used with Hayward 1.5Hp Super Pump and EC75 filter. Fits perfectly and keeps your costly equip off of the ground- high and dry.

Pvc type material. Did what its supposed to do. I did not have one before so because I was getting a new filter system from Amazon i might as well complete the look. I poured a small slab too for it all to sit on. Clean uncluttered look. Fast shipping and great price!
