Test case RISCV machine for me
Offers a VERY nice amount of RAM, and good enough performance for me to experiment with along with a generous offering of I/O.I have pre-ordered a milkv oasis, because of my use of this device and wanting to have something closer to a potential desktop system to test. That said, overall performance of this board is in my opinion on par w/a raspberry pi 3, but with a boatload of extra I/O. Lack of performance is largely due to inorder CPU architecture and lack of any special instruction sets, e.g. vector processing on this chip's specs.I would recommend NOT purchasing these ATM UNLESS you have a need for RISCV hardware, or just want to use utilize physical hardware, otherwise emulators are fine.

Absolute GARBAGE that may or may not work eventually
Have installed Gentoo Linux on this device because their distro does not build no matter what. I stand by my ABSOLUTE GARBAGE rating on this because while building packages such as webkitgtk or llvm or other insanely large builds I eventually get NVME errors. The NVME is directly opposite the CPU on the motherboard so if the CPU gets hot because its DOING WORK.... the NVME craps out.Furthermore, I started a webkitgtk build on sunday morning and when i came in tuesday the build was stalled.. the unit literally went to sleep because it was not "being used". THIS is garbage.

RISC-V is the future and this has an on chip graphics processor and 4 cores
The potential for this board is tremendous. It has error correction top to bottom, there is a supervisor processor in addition to four application processors and a lower level I/O orientated processor. it has a couple of flavors of Linux that appear to be a work in process, but it looks like it is moving right along. I just burned a version of Debian into and SD card and will be looking to boot it up soon. For now it looks like either using a UART into a couple of the I/O pins using something like Putty or doing a remote desktop is doable. I would like to get to the stage where I have a monitor plugged into the HDMI and a wireless keyboard and mouse. At that point I will do most of my work on it as I can and see how it goes.
