Pieces are quite solid and well put together, I had to make a few changes to the overall installation to fit my specific odd situation, but it went together easily, even having to make some modifications. Doors move smoothly on the tracks. Everything works like it should, had no problems!

The hardware is sturdy and came recommended by my custom door manufacturer. I have 2" thick 56" wide doors with solid MDF core and they roll sweetly. I have three doors and now have a way to completely close off a 14 ft wide opening.Was it easy? I installed hanging from the ceiling, which wasn't one of the options. I adapted the kit and installed a 2x12x14' header to the joists. No, not easy, but it was worth it.

Mine is a 9' bypass, so the following applies to that -- I think it applies to others but can't confirm.First, be careful not to over-tightening the lag bolts -- to tight and your bolt caps will drag on the wall. This applies to the inner rail on a bypass like mine, and I'd guess this is true for the rail in a single config too. Most of us will have the lag bolt tightening into a stud through a layer of drywall, right? Well, the manufacturer creates these with very close tolerances, so the cap nuts on the back of the door hanger hardware, if all is done properly, will just be a few millimeters from the wall, maybe 5-8mm at most. This is a problem because if your mounts crush into the drywall much at all, it's easy to eliminate that gap. That's with the caps tightened all the way to the end of their threads, so thinner doors won't help (mine were standard 1.5"). SO: Tighten ONLY to flush and a little more if your wall surface is drywall!!! (( workaround if you've already done it: if you replace the cap nuts with normal nuts you can regain a gap and it's maybe a couple $ at most))Second, I really wish the rails were more flexible with mounting locations ... These rails are *SOLID*, and you're really not going to want to drill new holes. But if you're in a space where the positioning of the rails needed doesn't allow for a lot of side-to-side adjustment, getting the existing holes aligned to wall studs may simply not be possible.With that said, once we worked past those trouble spots, they work brilliantly and seem extremely solid, so still giving it a mostly good review.

Bought these to cover some exterior sliding doors and though it was a real project to get everything together and mount all the hardware, it's super sturdy and looks great.Word to the wise, this is almost above your "average" skill level so if you buy it I hope you have some DIY experience under your belt as well as a fair amount of common sense as the directions can be confusing and misleading. Slow down and think out the project as you go and you should be fine though!

Hardware excellent quality.I used 20 yr old deck boards to make the doors ,the weight was over 85 lbs each and the hardware handle the weight with no problem.the doors were 2 inches thick so I needed additional parts ,they mailed them right out.Quality parts and a great company to deal with

Made two barn doors for a 60" wide doorway - this fit the bill perfectly. Had to make a custom ledger board for mounting this hardware to it, but I figured that going in ( I would NOT recommend trying to locate this to your studs - simply mount a ledger board to the studs you have, then bolt on to your ledger board - easy peasy).

First off, you need to take at least 4-6 hours for the setup. Once the railing is actually up, it looks pretty nice, but getting to that point will really try your patience. First off, the instructions are horrible. Here's a pretty complicated railing system that requires exact pin-point measurements, but here's 2 pages with some pictures - good luck! If we followed the instructional picture the entire system would have been off, thankfully we figured it out. Secondly, the anchors they provide are poor quality. If you decided to use something other than a hollow door, I'm not sure the railing will stand up to it. If you can get past the poor quality anchors, the horrid instructions, and taking a good 4-6 hours of your day...then yeah, pretty decent purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the 16 foot, 2 door, bypass hardware kit. It arrived in 2 well packed boxes, each very heavy.I'm utilizing it as a double garage sliding door system.The 6 page instructions and parts list are very complete and easy to understand.All parts are very heavy duty, thick metal with equally heavy duty bolts and screws. All small parts packaged in plastic bags and separate small boxes.This hardware kit would easily support doors weighing hundreds of pounds in my opinion.It seems slightly expensive to me, but the quality is worth it.

The instructions for this are VERY difficult to understand (and lack a lot of details) making the installation complicated and crazy making. It looks/works great once you figure it out, but there’s a lot of guessing and multiple attempts to figure it out.

Both my wife and I love it. It was a challenge to install but only because we have low ceilings. All parts were there and instructions were good. Thank you

My low-hanging wall could not support the weight of this quality. They took the product back with no issues. Great quality.
