The pressure switch is a solid piece. It's well made, metal contacts and on and off switch and 3 ports. The accessories it came with is where it falls short. If you are not familiar with pneumatic equipment or mechanical, this may not be for you! The kit came with an abundance of accessories, 2 guages, a regulator/manifold (cheap), relief/safety valve(not sure of it's quality) and a bunch of fittings. You can use all these parts the way they show it but, I preferred to have a more custom and compact setup that was stronger and not subject to breaking because of knocking it around. As I said...when you're replacing something mechanical like this, it;s pretty much a given that you're going to have to buy add'l parts to make it work. Not the fault of the manufacturer or the part; there's just to many configurations to be 100% correct right out of the box. First I had to change from the spade connections on my wires to ring connectors to make the electrical connections. I used my old regulator/manifold on one port, my old safety/relief valve, the new gauges that came with the switch kit, and various fittings. (Lot's of trips to several stores). NOTE: Because of the dimensional changes (tubing length), you may need to replace the black air line from the tank to the pressure switch. That is 1/4" air brake hose from the auto parts store.( You won't find it at the big home store; the plastic tubing there won't hold the pressure or withstand the heat.) Finally the on/off pressure adjustment instructions are in the switch cover. They are correct and do work. Think about it and be patient, it may take you a few tries, but you'll get there.(See video). All in all I'm Very Satisfied. The switch is working perfectly.
