The best budget smartphone in terms of specs at this price range.
I purchased this phone a couple months ago and wanted to give it a good run before reviewing it.Design and Build:The phone is very sturdy, I have dropped it a couple times since ive had it and no damage at all.Android OS:Comes with Android 7.0 and it has given me no trouble at all with its use, it has also accepted custom launchers from the Play Store without issue.Daily Use:During my days I use this phone for Skype, Discord, browsing as well as watching youtube videos a few times a day.Happy to say it has excelled at all of these tasks, browsing and scrolling and flawless without lag and youtube videos play in HD and screen displays it in HQ.Screen:Produces quality images at a high resolution for the price, its glossy just like with order Budget smartphones, but with the addition of an anti-glare anti-reflex screen protector which are very cheap on Amazon it solved that issue, but if you can dea with relfections and glare that you dont need em.Gaming:I have put this phone through the ringer when it comes to gaming. So far ive played Final fantasy Dimentions and other light games on it without lag or fps loss, in fact they play at top performance. The most intensive games ive played on this phone are Logres and Albion Online, both are MMORPG's and the latter is a graphic and cpu intensive game as its also a PC game.Logres plays perfectly on high settings but will lag a bit with multiple people on the same screen with multiple graphic intensive attacks happening. With Albion I had to set all the settings to Low, but thats been true of all phones for this game, I got abut 20-25 fps which is pretty decent considering the cpu and gpu drain this game does.Camera:Ive been buying budget phones for years, this is my first Cubot, I have mostly used Doogee in the past, and this phone has made me a Cubot lifer. I have to say the Camera is top of the line, procures quality images for the price, happily is delt well with lower light but like all Smartphone cameras doesnt react well to very low lighting. The flash works perfecty for snapshots in and outdoors. All in all, for 122 pounds at the time, this is more than a bargain, its a downright steal!

A great quality phone at a good price
This is the third Cubot I've bought over the last few years (P6, H1 previously). I've been impressed with their quality right from the start. The camera has improved with each generation and the Cheetah 2 takes fantastic pictures- I even use it as a dashcam when combined with a magnetic air vent mount! (although it does need to be plugged into a charger as the video function seems very battery hungry). The screen is excellent, showing crisp, bright colours and the response times are everything you'd expect from a more expensive device. I love the fingerprint unlock feature which puts it on a par with other high end (and high cost!) phones. The 32GB storage combined with the octa-core processor and 3GB RAM make this a very usable phone. There's even a slot for a micro SD card(up to 64GB) should you need the extra capacity. The build quality is fantastic and having dual sim card slots saves having to carry two phones for work and private use.The USB-C connector is bang up to date and takes away the grief when plugging it in to charge. I use ES file explorer to transfer data over wifi so can't comment on USB transfer speeds. The GPS is spot-on. I use Google Maps instead of a Sat-Nav device and a quick "Okay Google, navigate to..." has been effective enough to get me round a recent trip to Western Australia! The gyroscope is a welcome addition that allows me to use my VR headset, etc.A great quality phone at a good price. The only reason for dropping a star is the battery which lets it down when under heavy use- my previous Cubot H1 seemed to last longer. If you have more money than sense (or you're a slave to fashion) by all means go for Samsung or Apple but these phones represent such good value for money in my opinion you'd be bonkers to spend all that extra cash!
