Comfortable
Very comfortable even when used during a lot of movement. I use the VR for exercise so i sweat a lot, and this is much easier to clean than the cushion that comes with the headset.

What the quest should have come with this standard
In my opinion meta shouldn’t have cheaped out and this should be the default facial interface. It’s hard not to work up a bit of a sweat while playing and the cloth original one just soaks it all up, gross! I will say unfortunately with it being silicone it doesn’t lend much for ventilation so I find the lenses fog up a bit more easily - they should consider a slight redesign with more airflow. Even still, great upgrade to be able to quickly clean your facial interface and it’s comfortable to wear.

Easy cleanup
I don't think it makes me sweat any more than the factory one, but I definitely feel more since there is no absorbing. It is better for multiplayer use.

It's a rubber on your face
It blocks more light and is more gentle on your face. Until you pull it off. Then it sticks a bit. But over all it's better. If you mess with all the adjustments I think you can get the cloth face piece pretty close to this but not quite as far. It is easier to clean. You'll never get cloth clean as easy as rubber.

Practical Upgrade for Active Gamers
After using the standard cloth interface on my MQ3 for six months, I decided to switch to the silicone facial interface, especially as I started increasing my use with fitness apps. I'm very happy with this upgrade. The silicone is much more practical when you break a sweat during gaming sessions. It's easy to wipe down and feels much cleaner than having your sweat absorbed by the cloth interface. The instructions provided with the silicone interface were a bit lacking in detail, but a quick online search helped me find a helpful installation video. I'm curious to see how well the interface holds up over time, but so far, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's a solid improvement for anyone who uses their MQ3 for fitness or intense gaming.

Not what I expected.
The concept is good. The material that contacts the face is very smooth and soft. Not sure what material cover the padding, but it caused a rash on my skin. When it first goes on, it is very cool touching the face. However, within minutes it feels sticky to the point where it pulled the skin on my forehead and cheeks. I use my Quest 3 for flight simulation, so I'm just sitting, typically for an hour or more. By 20 minutes with this interface, I had to quit because it became so uncomfortable. I can't imagine someone who uses a VR headset for exercise being able to go more than a few minutes without the interface causing sweat to drip into the eyes.

Looks DAMNED good, if you can overcome…
First off, I want to say that this colour looks really good. I’m sure the blue is just a nice, but orange happens to be my favourite colour.I concede that this definitely falls under an unnecessary vanity-upgrade, but it does a good job at being just that.In a [very] well lit room, there will be light bleed. This is just a characteristic of the coloured plastic material. Some have said this ruins immersion, but I stopped noticing it after a few minutes. In a less-bright room, I didn’t notice it at all.Is it worth $50, especially if you don’t end up using the orange default strap? Probably not.I happened to get it when the price dropped, but I suspect it was still an over-spend for something that’s 100% an aesthetic upgrade.HOWEVER, if you’ve got the spare change, and like the look of the colour, I’d recommend going for it.
