I've been taking Strauss Heart Drops for 30 years intermittently. Take for 9 mo or so, then you can go off them for a few months. That is what is suggested. I swear by them! I need to order again. I have been off for awhile. The flavor is pungent but who cares when the product is to our benefit! I don't hold under my tongue for more than few seconds...its too strong. I swallow the drops followed with water. I highly recommend. Amazon has an issue with sending the large size bottle to Alaska so I have to order smaller.

I originally started taking Strauss Heart Drops because of listening to a radio show with a guest on there that raved about the medicinal effects of these drops. I am 53 and thought Id like to clean out my arteries of plaque and lower my cholesterol (still within normal range but has only been recently climbing) and would soon be having blood work at my physical appointment with my primary.Ive been taking them for about 3-4 months now, admittedly not very regularly in the beginning, but once I moved the bottle to my computer desk, I am much more compliant. (Things dont work unless you take them!!! lol). This morning and much to my surprise, I noticed an area on the side of my leg where Ive had a spritz of spider veins for 30 YEARS... has faded. In that same spot I had one squiggley blue vein which protruded near the skin surface, a varicosity, and was always very sensitive to touch. I have always favored that side of my leg, protecting it from getting hit on the side, out playing ball with my son or something like if the dog jumped up to greet me. Now I can poke my finger in that area and I feel NOTHING. There is still a little bit of spider veins in the area, not much...so I will continue on with the drops and look forward to things disappearing altogether.By-the-way, this result was not expected by me at all. In fact when I first awoke it took me a few minutes to figure out why that spot on my leg was disappearing. Ive worked in 2 operating rooms for 20 years of my medical career and I can still remember all the patients that would come in for vein stripping because of varicose vein problems. Many of the women would come in just because of spider veins and wanted them taken care of so they could wear shorts. When you have a surgery for cosmetic reasons, your insurance will not pay for it and the patient pays out-of-pocket. For $100 dollars these people could have saved themselves a lot of trouble by trying this FIRST, then as a second measure, have the surgery. But allopathy doesnt know information like this, couldnt be bothered AND there is no Cha-Ching factor for them to tell you about another option to surgery.Id rather pay the expense of the product than to take time off from work, go through the surgical procedure, wear the support stockings (like Teds or Jobs) and have to stay in bed with my feet elevated post-operatively, the follow-up appointments with the vascular surgeon, the pain, the scarring and not to mention the parting of money from my wallet for all the grief. I dont know of any insurance these days that covers all expenses, usually you have a co-payment.Im sending out an email to all my friends for this unexpected surprise from taking Strauss Heart Drops :)

This is a subtle but phenomenal product.About 12 years ago, I was suddenly in big trouble with blocked arteries. I never did have a heart attack but the chilling,aching feeling across both shoulders and (when it was the worst) down both upper arms to my elbows was extremely uncomfortable. At its worst I could not walk more than 50-100 ft before having to sit down or lean against a wall to get my breath. In the emergency room the cardiologist told me that I needed an immediate bypass operation. He said that I had what is known as the widow-maker. It was very serious. I had an immediate operation and when i awoke, I was the survivor of a five-way bypass and a member of the "zipper club" with a serious scar running the height of my torso and another running from below my left knee to my upper thigh where they took out four veins to be implanted in my chest. Stents were not available then. Truly a life changing event.Strauss Heart Drops (SHD) were recommended to me a few years after that by my best friend. So many such recommendations from others in the past for supplements and health potions have had limited effectiveness and usually have been of no assistance to me. So I was not enthusiastic, but I did try them for awhile. I didn't notice any improvement and I stopped taking them. I mean they are very bitter and hard to keep in one's mouth, even under the tongue.Later on, some pretty severe symptoms returned and I remembered the SHD. I got them out and started them again and my symptoms went away in about 3-4 days. I took them for awhile and when feeling good, I stopped them again.The symptoms returned again and I finally was able to "hear" my body. I got back on them and have stayed on them ever since. As long as I stay on the SHD faithfully, my shoulder and arm pain does not return. Additional benefit is that at age 74 I have the blood pressure of an 18 year old. 1st- most people would HATE the flavor.... I'm already conditioned to bad tasting supps.I have some family history calling for attention to my heart health. Also, my special family member (he's a Healer canine) has the med. condition Congestive Heart Failure) We both use this product. it's appearance, seems like genuine Strauss Heart Drops. I hope it is not a fake knock off.I pray for the souls of those who would further the decline of the health of other beings, by deceiving them, to bring more profits, to themselves, at the expense of furthering the deaths of others, while claiming to be a treatment, for better health. I DO have this product auto-shipped, and have for close to 3 yrs.

Have a family history of later life angina and heart disease. Father had a quad bypass at 71.The "evidence" for me came when a friend of 75+, after experiencing symptoms of blockage, he was told by a doctor that he was to be on the next plane to Vancouver for probable by-pass. Instead, much to the consternation of his daughter/nurse, he went home, put on his walking shoes, walked to the store, stocked up on fruit and veggies, and started taking Strauss drops. 12 years later he died of complications from alzheimer's but never had another heart issue as long as he lived.Sure it's anecdotal, but after 10 years of faithful use, I am 62 and feel like I'm 35, resting hear rate of 58 and BP of 107/74 and I am finally used to the taste so why stop now. I take 1/2 a dropper under the tongue first thing in the morning, keep it there for about a minute until it really starts to burn, then pop an 81mg asa and I am good for the day. It's sort of like flossing, it's a pain to do, but when you don't, all is not right with the world. As far as the cost goes...$300 a year is a small price to pay if I can avoid that chest-cracker.

Strauss Heart Drops has been my life saver. Around 8 years ago I had a heart attack and ended up with a stent in my heart. About a year later I started taking the drops. 5 months later I went for a check up and stress test. The doctor told me... "You never had a heart attack"!!! It sounds unbelievable, but trust me... it's true. These drops build my immune system, clean my arteries... I take it "as is",,. not diluted. I put my recommended amount under my tongue and hold it there for ONE MINUTE... then swallow it. It's STRONG (it burns in your mouth...). I'm so use to it that I could not tell you what it tastes like, only that it's VERY STRONG!!! I truly believe in this product!!!

I've been using this stuff for about a month and not feeling much difference. Used Kardovite years ago and noticed a difference after two weeks (breathing improved, cold hands and feet from winter exposure improved greatly, nauseous feeling from exercise disappeared, was able to recover my wind from any exertion much faster) but unfortunately, something changed and Kardovite is no longer the same. Decided to try Heart Drops as a replacement but so far, all I'm noticing is this...Heart Drops is just a costly way to give yourself bad breath.

I have used this on and off over the last 15 years to drop my cholesterol fast over a 2 month period when taken daily,staying on it regular might help more . It does Lower my Resting Heart Rate and BP . No side effects other than it tastes horrible which you get used to or go to Cinnamon flavor?

Although price remained the same the quality of packaging went down. The bottle is no longer put into a container and most important the dropper is no longer made of glass but plastic. I pay attention to such things. Makes one wonder if the quality of drops themselves went sown as well.
