This replacement face plate for the Switch 1 dock looks fantastic and is very easy to install. Video instructions are provided via a link. I bought the matching Switch 1 shell and the whole package looks fantastic together. I love my OG Switch all over again even with my Switch OLED and Switch 2 taking up my attention lately. Great visual upgrade for the dock with everything included in the kit for the install!

Easy to change out, love the retro look, everything lined up, no issues

So I bought this replacement case for my switch dock thinking it was going to be a breeze but it was a bit more involved then I thought so buyer beware; it isn't just a matter of removing a few screws. I recommend youtubing how to take the case apart and you should be good. That being said I love this new refresh I just gave my switch, it actually stands out and makes me want to play it a lot more now since it doesn't just blend into the background anymore. The faceplate is very detailed and the plastic seems to be of good quality although admittedly not as rigid as the factory Nintendo cover. I love that the company provides replacement Philliphead screws to replace the Nintendo's tri-tip screws as well as the both screw drivers to remove the old ones and add the new ones. My only concern is that the plastic has that soft touch feel that we gamers know all too well doesn't hold up, I'll definitely keep my eye on it but the company does provide a one-year warranty so I'm definitely using it if the plastic starts to peel or strip. P.S. I'll be reviewing the controller housings as well so keep on the lookout for that.

The product looks and feels like any of the controller replacement shells, so nice touch and appearance, just be aware of what switch and dock you have, I have an OLED model and couldn’t get it on my dock. That’s on me I didn’t pay close enough attention when I bought it. Otherwise if you have a non-oled dock I would recommend. So far I have done three controllers on multiple systems with extreme rate products and have been very pleased. So would recommend just make sure you check all the compatibility first!

It looks great, quality items, and had all the tools needed. There is a great YouTube video that shows you how to take it apart to install it and put it back together. I thought it was something to just snap over the front but I felt really cool and smart taking it all apart. 😂 Love the design!

My fault for not really paying attention to the description and photos, but I was shocked when this thing showed up and turns apart you have to completely. And I mean completely take apart your entire switch to get this cover installed. Do yourself a favor and buy one that slides on. I just got one and it's perfect.

Yay ❤️ I didn’t have any trouble with this one, only encountering some stiffness with hooking and unhooking some components, I advise that if you have discovered trouble with running your dock after installation, please evaluate your placement of the ribbon cable to the circuit board. The ribbon has certain grooves it adheres to. Even if it *seems* you can lock it into place, doublecheck your placement because when you snap the black lid down again, no blue from the ribbon cable should be showing on the circuit board. I also advise watching various videos from various youtubers for all of the extremerate installations, since the ones on the official channel don’t have a voiceover and I believe are a wee vague. I’ve also displayed the kit for extremerate’s full Switch Pro controller in “gamecube” colourway. All that’s left is to swap the Switch backplate + joycon controllers to the translucent bluebell colourway, we’ll see 😎

It's not a sticker you have to change the case looks good

The pieces simply dont fit properly on the new dock front piece. I tried it several times and the old one and it fits like a glove. The extremerate dock front has badly placed ‘pins’ that should snuggly fit the different switch pieces but instead prevents them from fitting together at all. For the price of this front dock piece you’d expect good quality, but its horrible.

Antes de escribir la reseña, tengo que admitir que el error fue mío por no haber preguntado antes y por no leer especificaciones claramente también. La carcasa es excepcional, los materiales son muy buenos y el kit para instalar no queda nada que deber. PERO, no es compatible con Nintendo Switch OLED, y TAMPOCO es compatible con ediciones especiales de la Nintendo, esto debido a que los docks de ediciones especiales ya vienen de "una sola pieza" por así decirlo.

Es gibt nicht viel zusagen. Es sieht nicht nur gut aus, sondern es ist auch qualitativ ein sehr sehr gutes Front Case Cover. Das montieren war auch sehr sehr leicht. Einfach die Schrauben auf der Rückseite abmachen. Die Stecker anschließend von der kleinen Platine entfernen und die Front Cover ab und das neue ran ohne großen Auffand. Empfehle ich jeden Zelda Fan.
