excellent tool must buy

I needed one of these for doing work inside my guitar. Bought these because the size looked like they'd fit easily into sound hole. You also get 2, pretty cheap. Now one for the motorcycle. They are strong, well built and very reflective. Perfect size for acoustic guitar sound hole. Could easily View my transducer installation and am very happy. Nice and flexible also with a nice long extension. Can't see a fault with them. I'm keeping the bubble wrap cover for protection. Just a thought to think about.

Like: inexpensive and it works. Every household should have a couple "inspection mirrors" readily available to assist with everyday install and adjustment tasks. For instance, we have an [overly, wife would say outrageously] expensive home theater system that needs frequent tweaking, often involving moving cable connections from a power amplifier to a pre-processor, or re-routing from a video monitor to a projector; without a device like this, one must move units sometimes weighing 100s of pounds; with the device, we can perform such operations without moving the equipment. We also use while lubricating our John Deere lawn tractor: try finding aligning grease-gun fitting to zerks by feel or memory without such device! Recently, re-hung large framed poster on wall and device allowed us to align poster cables with two projecting wall screws. Whereas there are devices with larger mirrors or fancier handles, we prefer the cheapest of this line with yellow handles. Works perfectly for us.

For under $10 for a pair of telescopic mirrors, I wasn't expecting much. I wanted a telescopic mirror that I could throw into my bike's tankbag to check oil when at the gas station, so based on price alone I purchased the pair. What I received was reasonably nice pair of mirrors with a comfortable grip, "robust" feeling telescopic mechanism, with a mirror that (with some work) ended up being distortion free and clear. The "with some work" part. These are shipped in a flat rectangular box, and the mirror ends are put into a "bubble wrap pocket" for shipping protection. I can't tell if it was due to age of the bubble wrap or these things got super hot in storage, but the bubble wrap used transferred onto the glass. (See images) It took several applications of 91% isopropyl alcohol to get the transferred material off. While I appreciated the vendor's efforts in trying to protect the product, a small felt pocket might be a better option. Once cleaned, the mirror's respective optics exceeded expectations. Some people noted the mirror size as a demerit but if it were much bigger, it will be tough to snake it around an engine bay. I think the size is a good compromise for automotive use. Though you'll likely never use it for makeup as shown in the product images.

These appear to be quality mirrors that are readily adjustable to all angles.

I've purchased two sets, the first arrived without issue and I use them at work daily. The second set I bought for my home shop arrived with one of the mirrors broken, I am displeased that I need to go to a store to return a $7 item.
