I love this outdoor kit! I bought 2 of them, one for my 3-year-old and one for my 4-year-old. We took them to Bryce Canyon for a camping trip, and my boys loved to discover the outdoors with it. I love that the flashlights are not battery powered. It was great to not have to worry about taking extra batteries and be panicked about them always turning them off.

I purchased this exploration set for my grandson who lives outside the USA on a island near Japan. The island he’s at provides all sorts of outdoor fun opportunity for discovery / adventures. I thought this would make a great gift for him. I’m almost certain he loves it..Many thanks,,

This is a nice set for 4-5 yr old - I bought it mainly to teach a little one the principles of how compass and magnifying glass work, whistle is an extra fun (not!), providing a backpack to put all staff in it was a great idea.

This was supposed to be a gift for a birthday party on Sunday (3 days away) and the box is damaged. I can't give this as a gift?! So bummed!

The binoculars are not true binoculars, you can't see any farther than the naked eye. The eye pieces came apart already. I put them back together once, unsure if they have held up. The whistle string broke on 1 side already on day 2, the compass works 1/2 the time. My son still plays with it because he doesn't know any better. I would not recommend this product for a child older than 6 or so. It is made poorly

Cute idea but cheaply made

My son is very adventurous type and he’s always playing outdoors.This set has all the essentials that are needed for him to go explore.Finding bugs looking at birds and all other cool and fun stuff.

It was a good set, but next time, I'll just buy a small compass, small magnifying glass, kids binoculars, and put in a bag.
