I have a small lighted base on my desk I always forget to turn off. That means I have to either change the batteries frequently or recharge them. With this, if I forget, it doesn't matter since these are basically a battery bypass. They simply route the power through.

20 years ago I would never have guessed that there would be a market for fake batteries, but here we are. In case you do not understand why these exist, they exist because there are a number of Li-Ion batteries that are the same size as common batteries (AA, AAA). The only problem is that the Li-Ion versions have almost 3x the voltage of the everyday alkaline cell, and that can fry a lot of widgets. These dummy batteries let you use one or two Li-Ion cells in a 3-4 cell widget without frying things. Much.

I bought this hoping I could use it in my battery charger to charge a single battery. The first time I tried it, it didn’t appear to work but when I but this behind the rechargeable battery in the circuit, it worked. Glad I bought it.

i use these in my radios and flashlights with 14500 Li batteries. Works great!

To use a power adapter instead of batteries

Nice place holders, allows me to use lithium in alkaline flashlights, etc.

I won't know how they work until I use my go kit, but a test in my radio went okay
