Difficult for younger kids
My kids love Shrek & were very excited to play this game.I think that this game was excellent & I actually played it myself to test it out, but it is for older children rather than younger ones. The graphics aren't mind blowing, but the game is fun to play & my kids did have fun too.I think the games are a little overpriced for their content, but v-tech is a trusted name in kids toys.

Very educational
This is the fourth game that I've purchased for my daughter's V.Smile and she's not as keen on this one as she is with the others. My daughter is still only 3, but she enjoys playing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; which is the same age range, more. This game is for 4-6 year olds and includes some simple maths sums and word games, which is what puts my daughter off. She does find the game fun, but doesn't play it for as long as her other games. Her 4 year old friend also finds the game quite hard. The characters can also get hurt by falling of the edges of paths or touching enemies and so you lose a life. This also happens in the Mickey game, but this one does seem harder. The graphics are just typical V.Smile graphics like on other games and the music is just your simple video game music like other V.Smile games. Reminds me of the old Sega mega drive games! I did find the voices funny on this game. On my daughter's other V.Smile games, the voices sound exactly like the characters on the TV shows, eg Dora sounds just the same as Dora and Mickey Mouse sounds like Mickey Mouse. But Shrek and Donkey just sound really weird to me on this game!I think I should have waited another few months before getting this game. I should have got her an easier one. So I'd suggest that you only get this if you think your child is ready.
