this hat is beautiful to see and its just as pictured . the problem is having it stay on your head. It doesnt stay on a few peoples heads hair or no hair that the only complaint and it should come with a hatbox because afterall you do want to keep it to use again

It was a good value and didn't look cheap.

I had read so many reviews in so many hats and it came down to this one even though customer reports stated that it was poor. So let me even the scales here. Yes it comes in a bag smashed. But the quality is so good that it popped back into place. I feel there are probably other hats that the quality is better ...but you can't beat this price. For the price, this product is exceptional!

I absolutely love this hat! Don’t believe the complaints about packaging. Does it arrive flat? Yes. Is it fast and easy to reshape? Yes! To me, being able to flatten this hat for packing in my suitcase and then reshape to wear is a huge bonus. The velvet, lace, ribbons, and feathers all arrived in great condition. I’m especially delighted that it fits my small head! All of this for a bargain price. I honestly don’t understand why anyone would complain about this hat.

Just what I needed for my pirate costume. Fits wonderfully. Well made.

Bought this to go with my Halloween costume and it came flat and smashed into a bag. There was no getting it to be the shape it was supposed to be and the material stayed wrinkled. It looked horrible and I didn’t use it, don’t waste your money.

Great hat. Very cute and sturdy... it comes compressed but pops right up... looks great!

This came in a reasonable time and in great shape. It was folded flat to fit in the box but once I opened it up it stayed inflated very well. It is a bit big for my head but that's not necessarily a bag thing. Better than being too small. I love the look of it and am very impressed with the quality for the price I paid. Can't wait to wear it on our cruise.

This hat is absolutely gorgeous! It arrived exactly as shown on the product page, with elegant feather, pretty lace, and striking ribbon. TBH at this price I was expecting the materials to look cheap, but positive reviews persuaded me to give it a try. What arrived was even better than they had said -- the hat material is soft (I'd call it velvety) but somehow not floppy, so you can meld it into a particular shape and it behaves pretty well.The size I would say is for an average adult head -- if an average hat in a shop fits your head then you should be fine. My daughter's hat size is nearly that, so she borrowed it for 'pirate day' and had no problems -- she loved it and it really made her costume.It's a bit of an investment in a sense too, cos I'm sure with a bit of needlework I can remove elements and add elements to adapt it to non-piratical requirements as the children grow up. I'd say if you're looking at this product, don't mess about, just buy it, wait for the large cardboard box to arrive, then have some fun.

The product was squashed unable to wear it was not happy I threw it away I'd like a refund but that's probably not going to happen
