No more pain!
Excellent product. This style of mouse was suggested by my occupational therapist to reduce pain and swelling in my wrist and thumb. The more natural, hand shake posture takes a little bit of getting used to but really makes a difference. Definitely make sure you measure your hand before ordering as I had previously had a normal size mouse purchased for me by a previous employer but find the small one much better even though I am the maximum size for this mouse.

I am still getting used to this, but I have to say first impressions are very positive. It feels comfortable in the hand and I think will help alleviate wrist pain. I got the small size and followed the instructions on manufacturer's website for choosing the size. I think this is quite important.I have yet to customise it as I am still considering the best options but it looks as if it will be really useful. So far I would definitely recommend this. Service from supplier was prompt and it came secure packaged.

Great product if you have a shoulder issue allows you to continue to work
I have 2 of these now 1 for my house office and 1 for work… have used this product for a number of years took a bit of getting used too, but we’ll worth it.. I use then due to a shoulder and neck injury, allows me to keep the mouse movements simple with limited shoulder rotation great product

Fab.
It's great. I am 25 and have athritus in my wrists and fingers, so was looking for a mouse to use long term to reduce the damage of using a laptop all day everyday. It very smooth and easy to adjust to. The sweeping in my joints is noticeable better than it normally is at the end of a long day. Recommended for anyone using a computer all day. And especially for anyone looking to reduce aches and pains

Four stars until I have used it properly
Purchased as an alternative for the much cheaper Anker vertical mouse (see separate review for reasons why). This mouse is much more expensive & hopefully it will be worth the money. It was very easy to set up, although the instruction leaflet is a bit sparse on information. It takes one AA battery which is supplied. Plug & Play installation was very straightforward & took under a minute. There is a button on the side which adjusts the pointer speed up & down to suit your preference. The mouse sits comfortably in the hand & the buttons only need a gentle touch to operate; the scroll wheel is responsive too. Apparently there is a red light to indicate when the battery is low. On/off switch on the bottom. I will update my review once I have used the product properly.Update 14/1/15 - I used this mouse for a few hours and found it to be far superior to the Anker. The small size is perfect for my hand & the buttons are easily accessible. My hand and arm were in a relaxed position at all times. The Evoluent Mouse Manager driver can be downloaded from the Evoluent website and this enables programming of the buttons - this is an optional step.

It seems impossible to work out how to use this mouse without a degree in information technology. The instructions provided are totally inadequate to the task.

Okay, when it worked.
I work with a lot of CAD and I had issues with my wrists, because I use computer so much at work. I thought Evoluent mouse will help to solve these issues. It did, when it worked. I only used it for a few weeks, which was enough to get used to it, and it made me realise how uncomfortable my previous mouse was. I was very happy with it, even though it is a bit clunky, and the built quality isn't exactly what i was expecting. However, after 3 weeks, the scroll wheel started to catch on something and click the middle mouse button (actually full on clicking), I contacted customer support and shot a little video for them, they got back to me rather fast, but it seems like they haven't watched a video I sent them. At this moment I realised that the built quality is probably to blame, and I wasn't okay with such an expensive mouse starting to have issues after so little time. I returned the mouse to Amazon for a refund. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I don't think I will be buying it again, even though it was okay when it actually worked.
