I have recently tried the traditional melted wax and spatula method as well, and each technique has pros and cons. It's my first time trying this type of wax kit. It's actually really easy to use and effective, on areas like legs. Heats up the wax in about 20 minutes. Had to get wax cartridges, as this is just a heater. I also purchased additional wax strips. Really effective treatment, would recommend. Feels really well made. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value for the price.
