The barstools are as pictured and I’m very pleased. They are sturdy and high quality. Assembly was pretty easy and straightforward. I encountered a slight issue during assembly and reached out to Nathan James customer service. I must say their customer service was SUPERB. They went way out of their way for me. I would not hesitate to purchase pieces from this company in the future. Very, very happy customer.

I wanted a low profile bar stool for my counter height island. These are perfect and guests are pleasantly surprised by the amount of back support they provide! They look great and are functional and comfortable!

Pros- It’s sturdy and well made, easy to put together, high quality, comfortable Cons- the material doesn’t feel like leather more like suede, and material is loose and gathers weird (see photo)

**Update 6/4/23** I did order a fourth chair as I decided to keep the chairs. My order was cancelled by either seller or Amazon though. I was not even notified that it was cancelled. Not sure what was going on there. I went ahead and placed another order so hopefully it's sent as I need a fourth chair and it says only one in stock. When I place my order over a week ago there were 10. As far as the quality goes I still stand with my first review. The side supports have loosened some and I've had to tighten screws over the past few weeks and they never fully get tight. The cushion however on a positive has gotten a little softer! So yay! Still a decent stool for the price. *Previous* I think the style/trend is there, but the color is slightly off. More of a warm light brown wood vs grayish. Also, the cushion is definitely more of a brown oatmeal color than a cream oatmeal. For the price they will work for now. I’m not expecting longevity out of them though. The one is slightly wobbly and I put it all together properly and am very handy. I’ve tried to make some adjustments, but still has a slight wobble. I’m leaving the wood screw cover plugs off the back for now so I can tighten as they loose up in the coming weeks. The other don’t lie about the firm cushion either. It’s rock hard. Whatever the material is is odd. It doesn’t rebound quickly either if it does get a dent in the cushion. I will keep for now as I don’t feel like the hassle of returning. You definitely get what you pay for with these. I’d only wish I’d pay $100 or less/chair. You’ll have to decide what’s more important quality or budget for you.

Very disappointing customer service from Amazon. I purchased this set, and one arrived defective. Rather than replacing the defective chair or providing a replacement part, Amazon’s only solution was for me to completely disassemble all four assembled chairs, repackage the entire set, return everything, reorder the product, and then assemble all four chairs again. This is an unreasonable burden on the customer when the product arrived defective through no fault of my own. I expected Amazon to stand behind the products it sells and offer a practical solution, such as replacing the defective chair or providing a partial refund. What is most disappointing is that customer service repeatedly cited policy without considering the circumstances or the significant amount of time required to undo and redo the assembly of an entire furniture set. I have been an Amazon customer for many years and expected a much more customer-friendly resolution.

1. These were so easy to put together. There’s only a couple pieces for each chair. They were level and sturdy without needing us to adjust them. 2. They are really nice looking. The low back allows them not to block the counters and kitchen. 3. Comfort- I was worried about the cushion and comfort if the chair. The cushion is firm but comfortable. I think if they were squishier, they’d lose their nice look quickly. The low back is comfortable too. We’ve played card games in these chairs for hours and I never felt like I had to stand from being uncomfortable. 4. Easy to clean- with three kids under 5, I was worried about dirty hands ruining the chairs quickly. We’ve had oil from peanut butter, chocolate ice cream, Mac and cheese and more on these in the first couple weeks. I quickly sprayed with a laundry stain spray and then used my little green Bissell on the chair. They look brand new! You cannot see where the spill was. Also, they are not discolored where I treated them. Overall, I am VERY impressed by the quality and style of the chairs. I would recommend to anyone!

The quality is nice but the back is very low. Giving 2 stars because I ordered NEW barstools (not prepared) and the boxes I received were clearly repacked from other customers and returned. One of the stools had stripped screw holes. I returned and repurchased one barstool and got yet another returned barstool but luckily it was in good condition. Not sure why I’m paying for NEW and getting preowned. It’s not easy to load up and return such a big box.

I absolutely love these bar stools! The height is just right, the color is gorgeous, and they’re way more comfortable than I expected. Quality is great and easy to clean. They take time to assemble, and I wish the price of stools wasn't so high, but I would recommend these stools.

Been searching for padded and comfortable stools for a while. These are perfect! They are a warm oatmeal color. Sturdy. Organic/natural looking. Very comfortable. Low back to reach the island easily. Very happy with our purchase!

Stained and damaged. I'm very disappointed because I loved this model. This was an open box purchase but when you read Amazon's description on their open box it's says they have looked it over and made sure that it was in great condition. Obviously it is not.

Cheap product - fake wood grain on the legs looks cheap, upholstery wrinkled before we even sat on them, and zero support in the backrest. The seats were very hard and uncomfortable plus not even close to a 20 minute assembly. Too bad- the image online was great but we were very disappointed when they arrived.

Got a set of 4 and I couldn't be happier with these! Better quality and better comfort than nearly everything else we've tried.
