Any luck using with 2017 F150?

Yes! There is also a vehicle specific Ford kit that uses 2 less cut pieces, search ASIN: B0B5Y9MFCK

How long is the whole roll? The description says 8x8x1. Is that inches feet or other?

I believe it should state 8'x1"X1". It's 8' long and the tubing is about 1" wide and 1" deep when not compressed.

Anyone installed on a 2022 ford f150 reg bed? installed a bak 4ks rolling cover and water gets in near tailgate section

Yes, this one does work, but you can eliminate 2 cut pieces by using the Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal for Ford vehicle specific kit, search ASIN: B0B5Y9MFCK. The install directions can also be found at TailgateSeal.com

How do you double it up for large gaps? guessing you put the seal on each mating surface? needed for a 2004 f250 super duty.

This kit will work as it contains a piece of large tailgate seal (not pictured). This was recently added so that it can seal all pickup tailgate configurations that are not listed on TailgateSeal.com.
