I wanted to love this desk. It’s so cute and well organized. But why make the compartments JUST BARELY to small to fit standard sized books and papers. Like, you were SO CLOSE, if you’d made the compartments a centimeter wider and a half an inch taller everything would have fit.I really don’t understand. Like with the tiniest adjustment they could have made it a perfect desk.But as it is, I can only give 3 stars because I have to put everything sideways and it will only fit half as much stuff and have a lot of wasted space and/or awkwardly placed books.To their credit the drawers are exactly the right depth (just over 11”) .

The desk took a long time to put together but turned out nice. We were disappointed though that they did not come with screw hole covers. The photos have them but they did not come with it and we didn’t realize it until it was all put together. Cannot message the seller, only Amazon and the only option is to send it back??? We worked too hard to take it apart and send it back so we’ll find our own screw hole covers.

I am extremely unhappy with this desk. It was chipped. Got it for my daughter’s birthday. There is nothing to cover the nails too, it’s so visible. Wish I could return, but it’s hard to dismantle.
