8 AA Battery Holder 12V Power Pack with DC Plug & On/Off Switch - for CCTV, Arduino, LED Strips, Motors

I purchased this to add power for the led strip in my garage, it worked a treat as I don't have power in my garage and I was looking at expensive power banks to add lighting but after trying this I was very happy with how easy it was to power leds in a remote area with just 8 AA batteries

I used this to power an LED strip in a cabinet and it worked a charm. The box is not much bigger than the eight batteries it holds and so was easy to hide in the cabinet. The cover clips on very tightly and there’s a screw hole if you want to make it child safe. The only nit I could pick is that it doesn’t have any screw holes to fix it to a surface but they were easy enough to add and the plastic is sturdy enough that I didn’t compromise the rigidity at all by drilling it.

I use this to power my astronomical telescope, with rechargeable cells rather than disposables you don't get the full 12V, more like 10V, but that's enough for my purpose. A lot lighter than a lead acid battery, and a lot cheaper than a lithium power pack. I'll probably attach it to the scope with velcro, The control box on the scope has its own on/off switch, but the one on this box is handy to make sure there is no risk of shorting out the output connector when not in use, given the current capability of rechargeable cells that's important for safety.

Takes 8 AA batteries that, providing you use power cells such as Duracell rechargeables, provide an awesome amount of power. I bought these to power a 100w amplifier to drive a couple of book shelf speakers, and I used them all night (4-5 hours) and they were still going strong at the end! Some niggles: when pulling out the batteries the connector strips can come out which then need replacing. Also, the lugs that connect the sliding top plate have broke # this could have been with me being a bit ham#fisted, but they are not overly robust. The top plate still works, it doesn’t lock in place. Overall a good product at a cheap price.

I purchased this battery pack as I needed to replace the existing battery pack in a SEIKO ST-306 Sports Timer (athletics track clock) which was faulty. I needed an 8 x AA battery pack and this one is fully enclosed with an on/off switch. The plug in jack was incompatible with the SEIKO clock so I cut it off and spliced the NEW battery onto the existing clock jack from the old (not working) battery pack. This all worked, however the NEW battery pack is ever so slightly too BIG to fit in the SEIKO battery compartment. Obviously, this new battery pack was never designed for this particular purpose but it does work well (placed in a weatherproof ziplock bag) and our Running Club doesn’t have to replace the whole timing clock, just the cost for a battery pack.

Its an ok battery pack. The case is made out of cheap plastic, but since its cheap I'd give it a pass. It can be used for christmas lights or electronics projects, with the baterries fitting snugly inside. A plus is that it can be controlled with an on/off switch so you don't have to unplug it every time you wanna turn it off. One thing I didn't like was that it smelt weird, but whatever.

My in-car internal p.a. system was plagued with interference from the car's electrical system. I used this device to isolate it from the car battery in the hope of eliminating the interference. It seems to have worked (fingers crossed). One criticism is that the wire was very short and I had to cut off the plug. Apart from that . . .

Il porta batterie non ce niente di male anche per il servizio è ottimo .Ma vi dico che il porta batterie non posso utilizzarlo come 12 volt perché per trovare le batterie da v. 1,5 devo fare la domanda al ministero , esistono talmente poco e sono talmente care quelle che ci sono .Infine ho dovuto comprare un altro da 10 posti ,perché le stilo 1,2 ce ne sono in quantità

wird als Stromversorgung für eine Boom-Box gebraucht, Batteriefach lässt sich gut verschliessen, ich benutze die AA Basic Akkus von Amazon, passt alles, interner Schalter funktioniert. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Ich hatte mein Celestron Teleskop mit Netzteil erworben wollte aber auch mobil unterwegs sein ohne Unsummen auszugeben. Dieses Batteriefach mit Stecker passt perfekt.
