LU200 for $35, decent quality carpenter jeans, rise could be 1" longer for more comfort when sitting
First impression: I think I've found a decent pair of jeans, similar to how they used to be made a few decades ago. If there are any subsequent disappointments I'll return to this to vent! These LU200 weigh 2 lbs 1 oz in size 36/34. Dickies claims on their website that their model #1993 are made with 13.5/14 oz denim, and the #1993 is their replacement for LU200. The color is the somewhat dorky dark denim color which I prefer, to signal that I don't pay extra for pre-worn out stonewashed looks or comfort. These are the closest I can find to what jeans used to be (decades ago when I last bought jeans from Lands End and 501 shrink to fit before that) before major makers cheaped out on fabric, and started styling which make no sense to me (i.e. "sknny jns"). Why am I pleased with these? After trying on some cheap Wranglers, I started looking online for help finding QUALITY jeans for reasonable price. I looked at Levi's website, confused more than impressed, and went down the selvedge rabbit hole. Honestly I'm considering a pair of Unbranded 22oz but I really want carpenter style to keep svord peasant and other edc separate, and let cell phone have pocket all to itself.A few weeks ago I would have said $35 is expensive for jeans (I've seen so many cheaper prices), but after trying some of those less expensive options, I found them to be a joke. I need to adjust to inflation and remember that manufacturers are happy to sell junk if we'll buy it.If you're having trouble finding good jeans, these are worth a look. Learn how to measure the waist and rise and inseam etc., and if you aren't sure of the quality, throw some on a scale and see how much your favorites weigh, to get an idea if the fabric is similar thickness.

Well Made
These are well made carpenter jeans, you can tell they are quality when you feel them. They run smaller than expected. I ordered 36W but need a 38W in this particular brand.Only issue; the pair I received were darker than the ones in the picture. Delivered quickly. The seller was very quick responding to my email and issuing a refund.

Great jeans, but...
Great jeans to work in the field in. I always loved this brand BUT the seem to run wide in the hip.I bought 40x32's that measure very close to 42 at the hip measurement. I noticed after the fact that others had the same complaint. I decided to keep them and use a belt because I didn't want to get stuck with return shipping costs because I opened the box. Overall, these are great work jeans, I've always loved Dickies, it's just that my hip fit was off. I checked my waist size just to be sure and I am in fact, 40 inches. Would I buy them again? Yes, absolutely but I will reach out to any seller of clothing from this point on in order to insure what I'm ordering will fit me properly.

Fair price
Like the comfortable fit. Did not like the fact the pants are like bell bottoms. not straight leg.

Replacing my very old favorites
Well my Old Navy carpenters are about 15 years old and apparently they don't make them anymore. Real Bummer because they are my favorites. My wife came across these here and I was hoping they fit as well as my Old Navy's. They do! The denim is a pretty good weight, the seams are triple stitched and they are a great fit. A relax fit with larger butt and thigh room these are very comfortable. They are made in Mexico not an asian country that makes really cheap crap. SHipped in from the states they came within 4 days of my order. Much faster than what was stated. I've never worn any of Dickies products before but I'm glad for these.

Great Quality and Ridiculously Cheap
I nice generous fit and great quality. I have worn these and another pair for over two years almost every day. I have only just had my first rip just now and it was easily fixed. I have not been easy on them but they have held up to all the abuse I could throw at them, from dog walking to crawling round laying hardwood floors. I have just bought two more pairs!
