Great looking built well.
This stove hood looks great and is built well. The lights are great. The fan covers are good looking and easy to remove for cleaning.I would have given the product 5 stars but the fan is loud and the hardware supplied in order to mount the unit is terrible, junk and cheap. Four stainless steel 3/8 bolts, nuts and space washers should be supplied which will make the mounting easy.I strongly recommend the manufacturer should supply the hardware listed above. If you purchase this product and the cheap terrible hardware is still supplied throw it away and purchase the hardware listed to make your mounting easy and secure to the cabinet.

Best Value for the Money
I cook with high heat stir fry everyday at home so I can really use some high cfm range hood to its full potential but I don't want to spend $800 for some popular brands such as ROBAM or FONTILE. I tried a few other brands like IKTCH and COSMO on Amazon and ended up returning them. I summarized a few key features that I would think is necessary and this ROXON checks all the boxes: longer depth (22" compared to 19" on some other brands), dual high power motor, round corner (I already bumped my head a few times and I could not image what if those corners are sharp), 6" duct, touch screen control with remote ( the remote turned out to be handy as I do not want to stain the nice touch screen when cooking).Installation was a bit rough but with proper tools it's doable with one person. The plug wire out of the top of range hood is right at the edge so make sure to cut out some cabinet piece to make room for it. I ended up not using the provided hardware for fastening and used four 2" bolt with nuts to go through the cabinet to top mount and put screws with anchors on the back for extra security. So far I am very impressed with the performance. I use level 2 or 3 for regular cooking and level 4 for high heat stir fry, no more cooking smell afterwards. The 1 minute delayed shutoff is my favorite function as I like to keep it running for a while after cooking. I found this product while browsing on Amazon by accident as they ship from Canada without prime and won't pop up on the first page while you search for a high cfm range hood as other paid promotion. But I do think this offers the best value and build quality for under $300.

Premium Qualty
I bought the 860 CFM, 30" Model RXN -U15BS-30 Stainless Steel Range Hood.I purchased this model based on the high CFM, rounded edges , twin motors and digital functions.I would recommend buying this product as I found it to be a premium product to compliment my kitchen.I read other reviews that it was very heavy and required 2 people to install. I installed it myself as I removed my stove so I could stand under range hood to gain more leverage. I installed 3 of the 6 screws before mounting the unit. After setting the unit in, I also added my own screws with washers to help secure it in.The only CONS were: Instructions on mounting were not clear. Also, unclear what all the extra hardware was used for. I only 6 screws. Not sure what the mounting brackets are used for.The Amazon description of "what's in the box" needs to be revised. It included the 6 inch vent hose and tape that I thought i had to purchase separately. Wish it included the 6 inch hose clamps instead of the aluminum tape.

This is the best Range Hood!
I am happy with this Range Hood (RXN-U15BS-30)! I went through 2 other vendors' hoods last month (I returned those 2 because they did not work), and this is the third one that I love to keep. It has everything I look for in a regular home range hood: a. has 2 powerful fan motors; b. LED lights can be easily replaced (GU10 is one of them); 3. has no vent damper or flippers (The reason: they block good airflow and make noise. They are redundant since the outside vent cap already has flappers). Roxon Hood has very good suction power and has low noise compared to other vendors. It is heavy as others mentioned here. To help with installation, I used a modified car jack (see attached photo) and a long (>14 ") screwdriver. With this little preparation, your installation will be easy.

Good quality fan and straight-forward Installation
This fan has met my expectations during the first couple of days of use.I had to contact the vendor due to a minor shipping address mix-up, and they were very responsive and friendly, and fixed the issue the same-day. I am confident if I have any issues they will be taken care-of.Suction power is very good, noise level is comparable to our previous over-the-range microwave exhaust, but considerably more powerful and the greater depth means it's actually pulling vapor from the cooking area.Lights are adequate, but can be upgraded if you want brighter. It would be nice to have 2 light levels, as we sometimes use the range lights at night, but this isn't a big deal. The main purpose is for lighting up the cooking area which it does.Rather than screens that seem constantly greasy and dirty, this unit uses baffles similar to professional kitchen exhaust hoods. These can be cleaned much easier by hand, or even thrown in the dishwasher. The latches seem like they will hold-up well.Despite the reviews that claim this is difficult to install, I found the exact opposite, as long as you have a helper. Two people can have this screwed to the wall or under a cabinet in under a minute as long as you have all your tools handy and a longer driver bit in your screwdriver. There are a number of mounting pieces included in the parts-bag, some anchors, duct-screws, and even some wire-nuts if you choose to direct-wire, vs plugging in. I chose to use some of the included hardware, but provided my own, keep reading! We mounted ours under the cabinet and there is an outlet in the cabinet. I had a cut-out already for an over-the-range microwave, so the vent opening was already there for 3x10 and it was a perfect fit for the new fan. I did have to drill a new hole for the power plug, this is the one minor issue I found with this unit, the power plug is very close to the back of the unit so if you are mounting under a cabinet, you will need to cut away part of your cabinet back to allow the cord to pass through. I used a Forstner (flat bottomed) drill bit to drill under the cabinet and about 3/8" into the cabinet back - this was enough to let the cable clear. Ideally the cable should be inset about 1.5" or 40mm from the back to account for under-cabinet mounting, with an option for out-the-back mounting if that's what you are doing. While there is no template included, the mounting holes are very liberal key-hole slots, so you don't have to be super critical. You can either measure and cut, or you can make a cardboard template and cut/fit that to the range-hood, then transfer those marks to your cabinet / wall.I think most people would be mounting this under a cabinet, as the top is not completely finished stainless steel, but there is a cover plate included if you choose to go this route. After installing either the 6" round, or the 3x10 vent mount with the included screws, tape the joints and you're ready to lift in place. I had a friend hold the unit in place, centered in the opening between the upper cabinets, then I used 1" particle board screws on all 4 keyhole mounts. These were just a bit longer than the cabinet bottom, which let them poke-up just a bit through the cabinet, giving me a marking location. That was a super quick process, under a minute.I then pulled each screw out one-by-one, drilled-out a larger hole and ran a bolt with washer from the top, and used a nylock locking nut on the bolt to secure it. With all 4 screws replaced with 1/4" bolts and locking nuts, the unit is as secure as it can be. If you are concerned about the weight on the cabinet, you can run screws through the back of the unit into a stud, or install a wall anchor into the drywall. I don't think this is necessary, but you have to decide based on your install.Taping and securing the ducting is straight-forward as they include a roll of foil tape. As with any venting, the less screws in the way the better - you want unrestricted air-flow. I am also happy this unit does not have any dampers - just one more thing to restrict air-flow. The outside vent exhaust should already have a damper on it.All in all, this is a very good looking unit and the touch-screen works quite well. In this price-range, I don't think you can get much better. On level 1, it's about the same loudness as the standard Big Box Store fans, but considerably more powerful. At level 4, it's loud, but very powerful and should likely do a much better job clearing the smoke, odors and vapor from cooking.

Warranty is not two years, installation difficult, but product appearance and function excellent.
Warranty: The description on the product states two year warranty, when it is a one year warranty plus an extended one year warranty if you write a review. This is misleading and dont appreciate being forced into a review to get a warranty which was advertised with the product without conditions.Installation: Hard-wiring was a little challenging due to the opening size at the back which just barely fits the standard 2 wire + ground Romex; just difficult to thread it through while holding a heavy unit. When installing with 6" ducting option, the flange is more proud than the length of screws for mounting, and unless you want to cut a large hole in the underside of the cabinet to provided the approx 1" front to back travel required for getting the screws hooked within the slots, it is a challenging process to secure the top rear screws. Rear wall anchor points are virtually impossible to access with any tools, opening is very small and even ratchet wrenches are inefficient due to limited angle opening; managed to secure it through awkward use of hand tools; unsure how the design was intended to permit access. So, installation was quite challenging as there is very limited space for tools, power tools are almost impossible to use without unusually long bit extensions. If there was a way to remove the blower unit, secure the exterior and re-mount the blower unit, then I wouldnt see a problem. Manual does not provide any specific (very general) installation details or tear down information.Product itself: Performance, appearance and function of the unit is excellent. Very quiet operation for a range hood, my installation was with 6" ducting option. Powerful air movement. Provided LED blubs are okay, but do have a slight bluish hue and hot points near the front, will be replacing the bulbs, which do have easy access once baffles are removed (removable with hand latches, tool-less). Very solid product, nice finish.

Surprisingly easy installation, good suction, noisy at 4th speed - but that is max suction
installed 30" over a high BTU (65k) gas range.showing promising suction at 2nd - 4th levels. not sure what the 1st level is for.was a bit scared reading so many reviews about installation challenges - didn't face any.i didn't use a jack, 1 person held it up in place for around 1 minute while the other drilled screws and holes at appropriate locations.heavy so i used up all 4 under cabinet screw holes and drilled another 2! plus drilled 2 behind as per the stud locations (not using the eyelets already punched into the rear side metal sheet of the hood)bright LED, but am going to change it - it is too white!there's a wifi icon on the front panel - doesn't do anything. huh.remote works as it should.good stuff - 22" projection (depth) as compared to under 20" for most. 6" slim (height). baffle filters - good for oily, heavy, regular, high heat cooking like Asian and South Asian. a handy remote. feels sturdy (metal sheet and fitment). comes with EVERYTHING you'd need to mount and use it, right down to remote batteries!i wish - there was a drip pan for oil, 2 levels for LED brightness. gesture control.

Great product, but a terrible experience to install
Make sure you read other reviews for this product. I'm writing this to get the 1 year extended parts warranty.Pros: This is a nice under cabinet range hood that has varying suction power (4 levels) and I find that anything above 2 is sufficient for Asian cooking. There are two venting styles which factored into my purchase as I didn't need to modify my own venting setup. The lights are bright and the filters are easy to remove and wash.Cons: Product doesn't come with an installation alignment sheet like an OTR microwave so you need to make sure you measure correctly. As another review states, the provided screws and washers are too short in length so you'll need to replace them to get the correct length for your cabinet. Following a lot of the other complaints, this is heavy. It's lighter than my old OTR microwave, but regardless you'll either need another person to help or use something to lift it up.

Straightforward to install
The range hood installation was much easier than I had expected, of course it was heavy. The unit seems to be very well built and is working well.
