ow but in a good way
The media could not be loaded. It does the job and I’m using this to promote hair growth. I do sanitize it after every use, either a spray bottle or I’ll fill the little cap w alcohol and let it sit with the entire needles out. I’m not sure if this is correct but it was advice given to me so I do it.If you are new to this I recommend starting out small. Literally with the needles size but also the amount of times you do this. I started on my hair line and I didn’t even reach the top of my head before I had to stop; this was definitely a mistake on my end because I thought I could handle it. It’s not super painful though, just like a targeted headache. Again I did too much for the first time. The box did arrive pretty crushed and I was worried about possible damage. It was fine though. I think this happened because it was placed in a larger box with other heavy items. So I think that was a packaging mistake at Amazon’s warehouse and not specifically the seller. Either way I’m not super pressed about it looks of the box because well it’s made to protect and hold the item and did just that so yay!

Great Tool to Add To Your Routine!
I have been having issues with hair thinning after getting off medication that I have been on for a long time. My hair issues have mainly been around my hairline vs the back of my head. Because of that, I have been incorporating daily biotin vitamins, biotin shampoo/conditioner/serums, and topical 5% minoxidil spray. After researching more about hair treatments, I learned that microneedling can help promote hair growth by causing a "healing reaction" to your scalp. I am familiar with professional microneedling and at-home microneedling rollers, but this is the 1st time I have seen the stampers, so I was open to trying it out. This microneedle stamp has adjustable lengths which starts from 0mm all the way up to 3mm. The needle lengths are adjustable by .5mm units, so you can start low and work your way up to the desired length for the area you're treating. It includes 140 titanium needles (14 X 10) with a .25mm diameter. This tool allows you to push the needles back up and comes with a cap. This is a great way to make sure your needles stay clean at all times. Instructions do recommend that you clean the needles with alcohol before and after each use. This is VERY important to make sure the needles you are using are not contaminated and cause breakouts or other issues. It is recommended that you use a length of 1mm to 1.5mm if you are trying to stimulate hair growth. Hair follicles are 2.5-3mm deep, so you'll need to use +1mm to really see a difference. I do feel that it takes longer to use this stamp vs a roller that you can easily roll around your scalp. You will need to go over the same area a few times and make sure the needles actually impact the skin. Do not push too hard on your scalp where it starts bleeding. I section off my hair where the scalp is very easy to see and begin stamping. After using the microneedling stamp, I then section off my hair again and spray the minoxidil 5%. Microneedling allows your hair treatments to better absorb into your scalp. Its recommended to microneedle 1x per week until you can go up to 2-3x a week after a month. You don't want to use this daily because you need to give your skin time to heal for you to actually see results. Overall, I think this is a great tool; however, the only con I have is the fact that it takes more time to use vs a roller. I also would have liked for better instructions to be included in the box or their Amazon description. In terms of price-point, $15.99 is fair compared to other microneedle stamps on Amazon listed for $21.99 (Dr. Pen). Cheaper rollers or stamps do not offer adjustable lengths like this item does. I would definitely recommend giving this at-home tool a chance if you do not want to spend money to get it professionally done. I will be taking photos over the next few months to see if these products have made a difference!

Here's why this is better than a roller
I'd give this micro needling stamp 6 stars if I could. After messing around with hard-to-clean rollers of varying depths, this is like a revelation. While the stamp doesn't come with specific instructions, I've spelled out everything in this review. I hope this will be helpful! The action of derma rollers pulls at the needles sideways as they're coming out of the skin, leaving microscopic tears that can cause skin irritation and roughness. I discovered this looking up why my skin was irritated and rough. Doh.This stamp on the other hand, sends the needles straight down to their intended depth, and lifts them cleanly straight up again. Point 1 in its favor.Point 2 in its favor is the adjustable depth of the needles. Different areas require different lengths of needle for successful results..6 mm is ideal for restoring and repairing collagen under sagging skinNo more than .25mm is necessary for tackling wrinkles in the eye area. For scars, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation, start with 1mm. On the neck, up to 2mm is effective. For hair density and regrowth, I've found 1.5 to be ideal.Cosmetic micro-needling rarely goes beyond .5mm, and this stamp can go as long as 3mm. I don't recommend using a 3, honestly. 2 and below are the sweet spots I've found.Tips:To sterilize the stamp, pour a small amount of alcohol into the cap, place the stamp on the cap as though you were putting it away, and shake as you roll through all the lengths of needles. Remove the cap, dump the alcohol. A quick rinse with water, and you're ready to go.Use the stamp directly before your most power packed serum for an immediate difference! I use .5mm on my face, and a multi-peptide + copper peptides serum (you can Google that phrase to find it). My neck at my chin was beginning to sag and become crepey. After this routine, it was noticeably better. After needling+serum twice a week and using the serum daily, my under-chin is ten years younger. This stamp can also be used to increase hair density. Microneedling increases blood flow to the scalp, and makes it possible to absorb hair and scalp serums far more deeply and readily. As a women with PCOS, I've watched my hair go from "need to shave under the back of my head because there's too much hair" to "I chopped it all off because it's so thin now." With a regular routine of this stamp and a hand density serum, I'm seeing scores of baby hairs trying to catch up with the length of the others. The clump of hair in the drain after showers is noticeably smaller, too!

Time saving for me
I swear by micro needling for my skin and helping with various problems and conditions. This is a time saver in that is covers a larger area at a time than a derma roller. It also gives you the advantage of the ability to adjust needle length which is amazing. Definitely worth a try! Downside is it is a stationary stamp so getting into curves proves a bit harder to accomplish.
