The media could not be loaded.

So much better!
We had a cheaper off brand version of this type of wireless vacuum, and we finally dove into the expense of this one and it was 100% worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

A vacuum that you can haul around everywhere
This V15 is the latest and greatest from Dyson, which says a lot. And guess what? It does a lot. It's probably the last time I'll need to buy a vacuum. Our last two were Dyson Animals which made us converts. This version is cordless but stays charged for an hour, and who vacuums for an hour anyway? You can use it on steep staircases, autos etc. It breaks down into a smaller vac. It has some kind of whiz bang light that "senses" dust or something. I don't understand it but can say that it is the best suctioning vacuum I've ever used. It's pricey but I got this on Prime Day. It was the same price as my Animal at Home Depot 15 years ago so, so it was way worth it.

It's like a video game.
Things I like:The digital readout - Being able to see how how many particles you're cleaning is really cool. You can sort of make a game out of it. Can you get those numbers lower everyday? If you do, you know you're doing a good job, extra points for you! Honestly, they should have built this into the UI. It is a little scary though, seeing some of these numbers. 200 million allergens? Yikes!Auto Mode - When the vac detects an extra dirty area, you can hear it rev up its engine. This is a great notification that you need to spend a little extra time in that spot.Very powerful - Able to suck up a lot more than other vacs, stick or not.The stand/cradle - Sleek and I appreciate not having to screw it into the wall.Attachment options - Being able to attach the long tube to either the vacuum or the cradle is pretty cool. I don't have to just leave it on the floor while I'm using other attachments. The side holster for two attachments is pretty cool as well. Bring your favorite tools around the house more easily. Even though there's a lot of places for the attachments to hook on, you can hook on all of them. This isn't a big deal, I just stick the less used tool in a cabinet. But having a catch all base would have been epic. It's not that loud - Not whisper quiet, but quieter than I was expecting.Emptying - The bin slides forward with a rubber gasket that pushes out the waste. There's less need to use your fingers to get out stuff that got stuck.Hair twister - The attachment to get up pet hair is great, pulls up hairs that my other vacs leave behind.Things I do NOT like:Power Trigger - It's a lot more work to hold down the trigger the entire time you're vacuuming. Having a switch would allow more maneuverability with the vac and less wear and tear on my fingers/grip. Especially true when vacuuming/dusting anything higher than the floor. Keeping your finger on the trigger can make reaching higher places very awkward. It's heavy - Again, trying to be agile with the weight is a little awkward. That combined with the trigger can make this a little unwieldly for anything that's not floors.Faulty strip - I've only used this twice and one of the felt strips is already coming loose. While not a huge deal right now, it make me concerned about the longevity of the rest of it.Self Standing - I do love the base, but I wish the vacuum was able to stand on its own without the base. This is just a nit-pick.

I previously owned the V7 and V11 models. This upgrade is by far the best model

AWESOME Dyson Vacuum!!!
This is SUCH an AWESOME Dyson Vacuum. For perspective, this is my first Dyson Vacuum; prior to this, I had a cheap, bulky, plug-in, hide-in-the-closet, Brave Little Toaster-type vacuum, so this was QUITE the upgrade! This dyson vacuum has both pros and cons to it:PROS1) It's wireless! It goes without saying that this makes life easier by not being tethered to a cord.2) It includes a vacuum stand; this not only displays the vacuum quite nicely, but it double as a charging station as well.3) There are many accessories to accommodate any floor surface.4) It has a quiet motor; if this is set on low, then it is no louder than a simple fan. If you live with other people in the house, you could vacuum while they are sleeping without disturbing them.5) The compact design allows for being stored without taking too much room.6) The digital screen allows you to set the suction power from three modes, as well as displays how long the battery will last.7) It has a quick-release bagless dirt container8) It's FAIRLY lightweight9) It has automatic speed changes based on what surface is being vacuumed.CONS1) It cannot stand up on its own; if you want to put the vacuum down, you would have to set it on the floor; I would not trust leaning it against anything.2) If you vacuum for a while, your arms will get tired.3) The stand has the ability to hold one accessory - either the long tube with the vacuum head on it, or one of the spare vacuum head attachments, however most of the additional accessories do not have a home on the charging station. I decided to stick a 3M hook onto the side, so I can hold the brush head attachment, but the other attachments simply lay on the base of the charging station on the floor.4) The dust container is not removable; In order to empty it, you have to remove any additional accessories / attachments, then walk the entire handheld vacuum to above the trash where you quick-release the dirt.ASide from me being picky, the pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons, and I am LOVING this vacuum! It makes cleaning fun!
