Like Walking on Pillows
Simply put, these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn in my life.I've got really wide duck feet, and shoe shopping has been the bane of my existence. Every single pair of shoes I've ever owned were either wide enough but too long, or the perfect length but too tight. That is until I bought a pair of these in 2023. Right out of the box, they fit perfectly on all sides, which is no easy feat. Even better, they absorb so much of the shock of walking that it's easy to forget I have them on. Since the padding pretty much feels like a yoga mat, it kind of molds itself to the contours of your feet and—at least in my personal experience—provides more adequate support where needed.I walk a good bit (3-7 miles a day), and these suckers are my best friends throughout those walks. Not only for the aforementioned comfort, but also for their breathability. My feet get ridiculously hot if I cover them for too long, so the mesh material used for these is a godsend. With every step I take, I can feel the air moving through the shoes. And since it's pretty much one solid piece, there aren't awkward seams in weird places digging into the tops of my feet like some other shoes (even other Sketchers shoes I've tried have this issue).I'm sure there are more rugged shoes on the market (I usually get about 9 months to a year out of these before I need to replace them), but I'm okay with trading a little durability for comfort and a perfect fit. If Sketchers keeps making these shoes, I'll keep buying them, and I'll keep recommending them.

After a 42Km hike
I bought the Skechers Go Walk Max Effort because I had a 42Km. hike, I have a bit delicate knees, so I was looking for a shoe that would protect my knees from the impact of the road. I must say that these shoes did the job, they protected me quite well and I am satisfied with them.

Only pair of sneakers that properly fits me
I've purchased these shoes 9 times. I will probably buy more of them. As a warehouse worker, busting my tail everyday, constantly on my feet, moving and lifting, one pair of these will last about 3 months for me. One of two things will go first, either the insoles, or the treads on the bottom of the sneaker. It is usually the treads, they'll end up more or less completely flat at the forefoot by 3 months. I just wish more than anything that the treads would be updated to be made of a harder, thicker, longer lasting (maybe even nonslip!) material. The insoles I can replace, though hard to find with my foot size, with these Sketchers in size 13 X-Wide, the Wide Run 619 insoles in size 15 fit pretty well (insoles are wider in the midfoot, but they still work fine, even better actually if you find the sneakers aren't wide enough there.)My forefoot measures 5 inches in width, which is frankly ridiculous, and it makes it close to impossible to find shoes of any kind that don't agitate my feet. Frankly, these shoes would be no different, if it weren't for the soft, flexible mesh lining on the outside. My forefoot sticks out a little bit, but because of the mesh, I don't run into any pain or friction. These are the only sneakers I've found that properly fit my feet, aside from the diawin Diabetic Wide Shoes (the ones with the velcro strap) in size 14 X-Wide Men. Those sneakers are flat on the bottom, don't have much cushioning, and the Wide Run 619 insoles don't help very much in those. I am still in the process of ordering insoles for them, attempting to find any that actually work via trial and error. (why don't any of these companies put width measurements on their product pages!!!! ahh!!!)The price of these fluctuate often. Install a price tracking extension, like Keepa, and look at the Buy Box history, maybe set some alerts. It may be a good idea to buy a bunch of them at once when they go a bit cheaper.

Definitely not brand new shoes that I paid for but used
Nice shoe the only issue I have is I paid full price for something that must have been returned. I just took them out of the box today 4/20/2025 and noticed a couple things one the paper wasn’t wrapped around the shoes it was laying under them, no cardboard insert or paper, the tag was off the shoes, bottom of the shoes had signs of debris on them and lastly the shoes were tied in a double knot so it clearly showed these were used shoesIf I didn’t need them for work tomorrow I would definitely send them back

Good choice
I give these sneakers 5-stars because they are comfortable right out of the box. They appeal to my taste for casual wear with jeans, etc., and I like the construction and low-key product ID. I can't stand slashes or big brand slogans on my shoes. I want only comfort and quality.
