Impressive Wide Lens for GH5 Camera
I recently had the opportunity to try out this wide-angle lens with my GH5 camera, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. The images produced by this manual lens are sharp and distortion-free, making it a valuable addition to any photographer's kit. When comparing photos taken from the same position with the stock lens at its widest and this lens, the difference in coverage is striking. The wider field of view allows you to capture so much more in your shots, making it ideal for real estate photography or any situation where you need to cover a small space effectively.Although this lens is fully manual, it's well worth the effort for those who are familiar with adjusting aperture and focus settings. Its compact size makes it pocketable and convenient to carry around. While there are a few minor drawbacks, like the lens cap being prone to falling off and the end cap being a bit finicky to use with other micro 4/3 lenses, these are overshadowed by the lens's excellent performance. In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable wide-angle lens that delivers clear, distortion-free pictures, I highly recommend giving this one a try. It's been a game-changer for my photography, and I'm sure it'll impress you too.

Nitidissimo e ottimi colori

Poor edge sharpness
Based on reviews I have read, I have reasonably high hope that this lens can produce better sharpness than the 7Artisans 7.5mm FE. The center sharpness may be a tad sharper than the 7Artisans'. However, sharpness drops off rapidly away from the center. It is uniformly poor on all sides, indicating that it is not decentered or misalignment. Stopping down the aperture helped, but never even reached the level of the 7Artisans at wide open. The good point about this lens is that the VOF is very slightly wider than the 7Artisans'.Unless you need just a slightly wider FOV, I do not recommend this lens.

Nice wide low distortion images
Got to use this with my GH5 and I’m impressed in this manual lens. It’s a great addition to anyone’s lens kit. The above pictures show from the same position on the lion pictures with the stock lens on the GH5 at its widest this lens and. You can see clearly how much more you can capture with this lens. This is a fully manual lens that needs someone who knows a little about manual aperture and focus to fully appreciate what this lens can do. Great for real estate photography where you can cover a small space better than your stock lens. Just a few little sticking points. No lens case or bag, lens cap falls off easily and it takes a moment to attach to the camera as its red dot is very tiny. Also using the end cap on other micro 4/3 lens is finicky But once you’re behind all that it’s a great lens. Micro 4/3 lens covers a need without as much distortion like a fish eye lens would.Pros: small pocketableLittle to no distortionCons: lens cap falls offNo caseEnd cap takes a moment to use on other 4/3 lens
