EDIT: 08 September 2026 Updated to 5 stars. Tecknet very kindly sent me a replacement keyboard as the keycaps cannot be replaced. I was under the impression this was an actual mech keyboard, but it's s membrane with a mech feel. Other than that, it is still working fine. I see that Tecknet have an actual mechanical keyboard for sale, so I may try that out and see what the switches are like.🥰 Pros: Keyboard has metal frame - something that you don't always get with more expensive options. Keyboard has a lovely, tactile feel. The switches aren't heavy nor need excessive pressure. Has the perfect balance of "clicking" when typing. I only use for writing, spreadsheets, data, etc. I don't play PC games, so cannot comment on the responsiveness in that regard. Back-light options are great and easy to control Cons: Key cap paint does not last, especially the A and S. Paint has completely worn away on multiple keys, but A and S went first. Caps Lock LED light is temperamental and only switches on when it wants to Does not specify which switches you need/ can use to replace key caps. If you accidentally bump a key when the pc is shut down fully, the keyboard will switch on.

Purchased 12 Jan 2024.. Really liked it especially the metal structure and the LED functionality. However just over 1 year later, it has stopped working, tried vaious solution inclduing removeing the device via Device Manager in Windows, different USB pots, no joy. Luckily I still have my old keyboard that this replaced and that works perfectly in all of the USB ports. Really disappointed. Have given 3 stars due to the keyboard`s current status / not working after 1 year noting that it has been well looked after, no spills, drops etc. Have sent an email via the Tecknet Portal via Amazon 30/1/2025. Will update further once they have responded, hopefully with a solution. UPDATE 11 January 2025 - I have updated my review 5 stars. The TECKNET support team has been fantastic. My query was responded to without delay and they arranged to deliver a replacement keyboard once I tried their initial solution to reactivate it which unfortunately was unsuccessful. The team kept me updated at every stage of the process. I am so happy to receive another as I really love the construction of the keyboard, its functionality and the quietness of the keys, no clickety clack. The price of this keyboard and the excellent customer support from TECKNET means this company is highly recommended, great customer support is very rare these days. Thank you TECKNET support team.

This feels like a good quality keyboard, especially for the money. Metal case, heavy and solid feeling and all the light ing bling you could hope for. It loses a star for a couple of niggles. There is no way to make the backlight stay on. It turns off after five minutes of not touching it. This annoys me as the keys are difficult to see with the backlight off. It is also worth pointing out the I've had this keyboard about seven months and the up arrow key is already losing its paint. To be fair though, this is an issue with all the backlit keyboards I've had. I've now replaced it with a red dragon which doesn't seem to have the niggles but only time will tell on the durability of the keycaps. EDIT:- I have to alter this review as the issue with the double tapping CTRL was not the fault of the keyboard. It was me being an idiot, I had it plugged into a KVM which was causing the issue. So apologies to Tecknet for thaty misinformation. My only real gripe now is the backlight switching off after five minutes. If that doesn't botheer you then this is an excellent keyboard, especially for the money.

This has a semi-mechanical feel but is also very quiet - only the spring-loaded spacebar makes any real noise. While the default lighting is absolutely hideous, this is very easily controlled rather ingeniously from the keyboard itself - no additional software to install, which also means no need to set it up across multiple devices. I suspect the see-through glyphs on the keys will wear out over time, but this has been the case with the last two keyboards of this type I've had. It sits nicely on the desk thanks to rubberized grips in key places, and has a nice solid heft to it - it feels like a quality piece of equipment, despite the low price (I paid £24). Looks the part, too, on my all-black desk -the soft purple/blue lighting matches my Steel Series mouse almost perfectly.

Received this keyboard today so can't comment on the longevity however, on first use, I'm extremely happy with it. The keyboard itself is quite weighty and feels well made. The keys have a gentle clack to them which is pleasant and typing for an extended time is comfortable. It's pretty much plug and play with no need to mess around with software or driver downloads. The back lighting is simple enough to set to your own preference with brightness adjustments etc. It doesn't fully illuminate behind all the keys, noting that the top half on the numbers and part of the function keys are missed by the lighting but it doesn't make it unusable if you need the lighting in a dim/dark room. Honestly, for the price, it is a fantastic purchase and I'm glad I got it. It is on a par with some of the much more expensive options out there.

I love this mechanical keyboard! The brushed metal finish is gorgeous, not only does it look good with the LEDs off, but when the LEDs are on the metal really accentuates the lighting. The light-modes themselves are all pretty good, with their being about a dozen or so in all. The usual ones such as breathing, solid on, off, and various patterns. Each row of keys can light up independently of each other. While it doesn’t have individual keys that are able to light up independently like my last Tecknet keyboard, the lighting effect is significantly nicer due to the combination of LEDs and brushed metal. I wanted a keyboard that doesn’t have a number pad, which means that I can have the keys perfectly centred with my body and the monitor. It’s just good ergonomics. I am a programmer, so as you can imagine having a good keyboard (and ergonomics) is a necessity for this line of work. While I don’t have repetitive strain injury (RSI), many of my friends and colleagues have it. And so I’ve been making an effort to proactively avoid developing RSI as best as I can. I try to make my typing experience the best possible. One thing I do know is that mechanical keyboards are good for ergonomics because of how comfortable they are to type on. Typing on this keyboard feels really good, and I am not sure how to describe it, but it’s got a certain sense of satisfaction that you don’t get with other types of keyboards (such as the membrane keyboards you get on laptops) due to the tactile nature of the switches. Some people say that popping bubble wrap is really satisfying, and whenever I type on this keyboard or my other mechanical keyboard, the closest thing I can think of to describe the sensation of typing on a mechanical keybord is that it is something akin to the satisfaction of popping bubble wrap. Although some may disagree, I love the ‘clickyness’ of the blue switches in this keyboard. My other keyboard had brown switches, and I was a little worried that perhaps the blue would be too clicky for me, but now that I’ve been using it I find that I am enjoying it. It feels different, but in a good way. Although I do understand switch preference is a highly subjective thing so best to do your own research. While discussing the switches I should also note that this keyboard also has anti-ghosting technology that I will no doubt find useful since I like to play video games from time to time. It has a keycap puller conveniently located on the bottom. I’ve already made good use of this, when I decided to clean my old mechanical keyboard, and couldn’t find it’s keycap puller but remembered my new one had one. I like that it’s built into the keyboard because that will solve the problem I had with my old keyboard where I put the keycap puller in a safe place, that ended up being too safe (I can’t remember where it is). Some expensive brands of Mechanical Keyboard require you to sign into an online service before you can access the keyboard’s drivers (which leads to the comical situation where you need to go online to configure your own hardware such as turning keyboard LEDs!). Technet blows those expensive keyboards out of the water by doing the same thing much better. With this keyboard all the LED settings are tweakable through the hardware itself using physical buttons on the device. I like that this keyboard is plug and play. I can move it from my desktop to my laptop very easily. When this keyboard is plugged in windows will just automatically find the needed drivers, and the LED settings are always available through the hardware. If there are any downsides to this keyboard I’ve not encountered them yet. The lack of numpad is (for me at least) more of a benefit since I’d rather use an external one that I can then position to my left (which to me feels like the most sensible place for a numpad). But I can imagine for some it might be an issue. It would have been nice if each individual key could be lit independently, but for me that is a luxury rather than a necessity but I could see that some individuals may see it as a drawback. The clickyness of blue switches are all down to personal preference. It has so many upsides, such as being plug and play, configuration of the LEDs accessible through the hardware, built in keycap puller, absolutely gorgeous brushed metal finish, braided cable, anti-ghosting technology, not to mention how downright pretty it looks like when its all lit up. All in all, I am delighted with this Tecknet Mechanical Keyboard. I think it goes toe to toe with some much more expensive keyboards while being much more reasonably priced (and without sacrificing any quality).

The keyboard looks quite nice and the feel of the keys is also quite nice, and I much prefer that the symbols are one above the other rather than beside, which seems to be the trend these days. It's nice that you don't need any software to configure the lighting, and the keyboard seems to remember it's settings between use. The cable is a little short, shorter than that on the Logitech G413 it replaces, so I had to use an extension. The key backlights also don't have a setting where the light only comes through the key tops, so it floods out around the edges, which looks cheap. My final criticism is that the caps lock and num lock lights sometimes don't work (the functions work, just the lights don't), and I initially got around this by removing the Logitech keyboard from the USB devices, but the problem has returned even with the Logitech keyboard no longer being there. All in all, it's an okay keyboard and is very good value for money, but it could be better.

Happy with purchase. quality very good for what you pay for. Would recommend if your looking for a keyboard on a strict budget also very quiet when typing.

► Einleitung ◄ Als Gamer langt mir zwar auch ein 'normales' Equipment, jedoch bieten Gamer-Tastaturen und -Mäuse programmierbare Tasten sowie einstellbare DPI, die mir das Spielen enorm erleichtern würden. Also machte ich mich auf die Sache nach einer billigen Ausrüstung und optisch hat mir das TeckNet-Paket am meisten zugesagt. ► Verpackung und Zubehör ◄ Ordentlich verpackt in einer neutralen TeckNet-Verpackung. ► Das Produkt ◄ Zuallererst zur Tastatur, die meine Überwartungen um weiten übertroffen hat. Sie überzeugt qualitativ auf jeder Linie: Das Plastik fühlt sich stabil und angenehm an und trotz des niedrigen Preises ist es vom Gefühl her gar nicht billig. Das Tippgefühl ist sehr gut, man gleitet gut über die Tastatur und die Tasten sind leise. Die Funktionstasten sind einfach zu programmieren und machen ihren Job gut, während die Multimediatasten sehr sinnvoll gewählt sind. Zusätzlich gibt es noch hilfreiche Extra-Features, wie das Deaktivieren der Windows-Tasten, Umfunktionierung der WASD-Tasten zu Pfeiltasten und Einstellen der LED-Helligkeit. Die Stoffummantellung des Kabels lassen die Tastatur noch besser wirken. Optisch sieht sie dabei identisch wie auf dem Bild aus. Die einzigen negativen Kritikpunkte, die ich hätte, wären die seltsam kleine Lösch-Taste sowie der Runterfahren-Knopf, den man gerne ausversehen drückt, ansonsten bin ich für den Preis schon jetzt zufrieden. Nun zur Maus, die nicht so überzeugt. Sie entspricht qualitativ dem Preis, dass heißt sie fühlt sich so an, die Tasten sind etwas laut, ergonomisch ok, aber nichts für große Hände. Die Stoffummantellung lässt die Maus noch ein bisschen besser wirken, ist aber dem Preis entsprechend und kommt qualitativ an die Tastatur nicht an. Ihren Job macht sie jedenfalls. ► Fazit ◄ Man erhält zwar eine Maus, die dem Preis entspricht, jedoch ist für mich die Tastatur ein kleiner Preistipp, denn alleine für sie lohnt sich das Paket, selbst wenn es 10€ mehr kosten würde.

gute und wertige Tastatur mit weitgehender Standard-Tastenanordnung. Angenehme blaue Beleuchtung, Helligkeit einstellbar. Maus liegt ebenfalls gut in der Hand und ist für Rechts- wie Linkshänder nutzbar. Leider funktioniert die Tastatur im POST/DOS-Modus nicht mit jedem Mainboard. Somit ist auch kein BBS aufrufbar bzw. BIOS-Einstellungen per Tastatur sind nicht möglich. :-( Dies ist weniger dem Tastatur-Hersteller Tecknet anzulasten, sondern eher dem Mainboard-Hersteller, hier ASRock. Es könnten natürlich auch andere Mainboard-Hersteller wie ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI und deren ältere BIOS-Versionen etc. betroffen sein !?!?! Folgende Boards (mit Beispielprozessoren in Klammern) konnte ich testen: -> ASRock Z77 Pro4 (Intel i5-3xxx) - BIOS 1.80 (17.07.2013) - not working :-( -> ASRock Z97 Pro4 (Intel i7-4xxx) - BIOS 2.50 (15.06.2016) - working :-) -> ASRock B150M Pro4S (Intel i3-6xxx) - BIOS 7.10 (14.12.2016) - working :-) -> MSI A68HM Grenade (AMD A10-7810K) - BIOS E7891AMS V1.3 (13.04.2016) - working :-) Hier wird wohl der Hersteller Tecknet (VID: 04B4; VID: F02F) vom BIOS älterer Boards nicht erkannt und die Tastatur im DOS/Post-Modus nicht akzeptiert. Man sollte also eine (ggf. ältere bewährte) USB-Tastatur in Reserve haben, um BBS/BIOS-Einstellungen vornehmen zu können. Wann ASRock die Tecknet-Keyboard-Unterstützung im BIOS eingebaut hat, kann ich nur vermuten. Evtl. ab BIOS-Datum Jahr 2014 ff ? Für andere Mainboard-Hersteller/Boards kann ich leider keine Aussage treffen. Bitte dahingehend keine Fragen/Bitten an mich stellen.

Tastatur und Maus erscheinen für mich für diese Preisklasse sehr hochwertig verarbeitet und schön designt. Bei der Tastatur fühlt es sich nach meinem Geschmack etwas zu sehr nach Plastik an. Aber für den Preis kann man auch keine Wunder erwarten. Die Kabel beider sind noch zusätzlich mit Gewebe (Maus schwarz, Tastatur blau) ummantelt, was Optik erhöht, das Kabel schützt und das auseinanderhalten beider Geräte am USB Port vereinfacht. Die Kabel an sich sind ziemlich flexibel aber nicht labbrig. Leider aber unflexibel genug, um einen Teil des aufwickelns beizubehalten, sodass das Kabel an sich Schlangenlinien zieht. Die Maus liegt ziemlich gut in der Hand. Wobei ich schon ziemlich kleine Hände habe. Bei normalgroßen Händen liegt sie wahrscheinlich sogar noch besser in der Hand. Sie lässt sich sehr präzise bedienen. Mit der entsprechenden Taste kann man zwischen 3 Geschindigkeitsstufen wählen. Die Maus ist standardmäßig blau beleuchtet. Dies lässt sich auch nicht ausschalten. Wer also keine Beleuchtung seiner Maus möchte - Pech gehabt (Ätsch!). Es lässt die Maus aber auch sehr stylisch wirken und auch im Dunkeln lässt sich alles auffinden. Am besten hätte man noch die Daumentasten irgendwie beleuchtet. Da schimmert es leider nur am Rand durch. Die linke und rechte Maustaste stehen etwas über. Ein klarer Abschluss mit dem unteren Teil der Maus hätte mir persönlich besser gefallen. Ein Tastendruck, gerade bei den Daumentasten, gibt ein deutliches Klicken von sich. Auch das Mausrad klackert beim kräftigeren Rollen etwas. Hätte man vielleicht noch etwas dämpfen können. Die Tastatur ist schön schwer und verrutscht nicht. Was mich etwas stört, sind die ziemlich hohen Tasten. Ich persönlich mag die flachen Tasten lieber und hätte mir diese auch an dieser Tastatur gewünscht. Der Tastendruck gibt vor allem bei der Leertaste ebenfalls ein deutliches Klackern von sich. Auch hier hätte man es gerne dämpfen können. Das Tippen klappt recht gut. Allerdings merke ich beim Schreiben schon, dass ich bei anderen Tastaturen schon effezienter war. Ist aber wahrscheinlich nur Gewöhnung. Die Beleuchtung erhellt Untergrund und Tastensymbole. Sieht im Hellen wie im Dunkeln sehr stylisch aus und erleichtert bei letzterem das Bedienen der Tastatur ungemein. Durch ein Drehrad in der oberen Mitte lässt sich die Beleuchtung sogar dimmen oder ganz ausschalten (Dafür gibts aber auch noch mal einen separaten An/Aus Knopf). Als Beleuchtung kann man zwischen drei Farben oder dem Durchschalten der Farben wählen. Da die Maus nur blaue Beleuchtung zulässt, machen die anderen Farben für mich keinen Sinn. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht mag es ja jemand, beide Geräte unterschiedlich beleuchtet zu haben. Neben der normalen Symbolik sind noch Funktionssymbole aufgedruckt, was gerade die F-Tasten leichter ihren Funktionen zuordnen lässt. Am Besten gefallen mir aber die Makro-Tasten. Diese kann man einfach belegen, in dem man Befehle aufzeichnet und auf der jeweiligen Taste speichert. Aufzeichnen lassen sich alle Tastatureingaben inkl. Tastenkombinationen. Leider ist die Eingabe der Befehle blind. Man muss also entweder es so runtertippen können, es ein paar Mal neu versuchen oder man macht sich ein Dokument, was man abschreibt. Ich hab noch keine wirkliche Verwendung dafür gefunden, aber allein die Möglichkeit, Makros aufzunehmen finde ich schon sehr cool und interessant. Und sicherlich gibt es dafür genug Anwendungen, wenn man nur mal tiefer eintaucht. Schließlich ist diese Tastatur aufs Gaming ausgelegt ;) Und wo wir gerade bei dem Thema sind. Die Tastatur hat eine "Game" Taste, die Windows funktionen deaktiviert. Kann auch ganz praktisch sein ;) Alles in allem ist das Set für diesen Preis jeden Cent wert. Punkte, die ich anzumerken habe, sind lediglich die Lautstärke bei Eingabe. Ansonsten lediglich ein paar kleinere Designfragen, persönliche Vorlieben oder auf die Eingewöhnung zurück zu führen. Wer gute Peripherie für einen erschwinglichen Preis haben möchte, kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen.

Super geiler Artikel! Durch diese Tastatur steht dem Professionellen Gaming nichts mehr im Wege. Die Tastatur kam Durch Prime am Nächsten tag, sie ist Ziemlich schwer dadurch liegt die Tastatur aber richtig gut und Verrutscht nicht wie meine alte Tastatur. Sie ist beim Tippen fast gar Lautlos und man hört kaum was. Die Tastatur kam sehr gut gepolstert an. Ich hatte erst die Befürchtung das es nicht meinem Geschmack trift aber die Tastatur ist viel besser als ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Sie kam wie auf den Bildern bis auf das das Z und das Y an der richtigen Position ist auf den Bildern Waren Y und Z vertauscht was mich eigentlich eher Weniger Gestört hätte. Die Tastatur bietet richtig Coole Beleuchtungsmodis, Entweder eine Farbe oder so ein Farbwechsel Effekt außer dem Blau gibt es noch die Farbe Rot und Lila Und kann je nach belieben oder Wünschen Heller oder Dunkler Gestellt werden. Ich habe mir das Set mit Tastatur und Maus Bestellt. Zur Maus kann ich Sagen das diese Auch richtig Gut ist. Sie Liegt gut in der Hand und durch die Gummierten Füße Rutscht diese auch nicht so leicht. Genauso wie die Tastatur Ist diese auch ein Bisschen Schwerer und hat einen sehr guten Grip. Ob die Maus auch verschiedene Farben zum Wechseln hat kann ich noch nicht sagen aber nach dem einstecken leuchtet diese in Blau. Durch dieses Set (Tastatur und Maus) Steht dem Gemütlichen Zocken nix mehr im Weg. Kann sie an jeden Weiter Empfehlen Gute Preis Leistung Mit Premium Versand Kostet sie Ca. 40Euro was das Geld definitiv wert ist. Das Tastatur Set war mir sogar lieber als 100Euro für eine Tastatur und dann nochmal 80 Euro für eine Maus auszugeben. Das Tastatur Set ist Qualitativ Hochwertig und von der Verarbeitung richtig Gut die Kabel von Maus Und Tastatur sind Geslievt, also nochmal mit einem Art Stoff Überzogen so Gibt es keine Kabelbrüche und keine Wackelkontakte. Ich kann dieses Set nur jedem Weiter Empfehlen der eine Günstige Tastatur mit Maus sucht denn sie ist den Preis Wirklich wert. Was mir nicht so gefällt aber meine Stimmung nicht beeinflusst ist das Die Gebrauchsanweisung zwar klein ist aber Komplett in English so das man Selber nach Funktionen suchen muss und sich halt durch tasten muss Aber ansonsten Richtig guter Artikeln

Zu der Maus gibt es nicht viel zu sagen. Sie liegt gut in der Hand und funktioniert problemlos. Unter Windows 10 wurde sie bei mir ohne Treiberinstallation sofort erkannt. Hinter dem DPI-Schalter befindet sich eine nützliche LED, die in Abhängigkeit der DPI-Zahl mehr oder weniger hell leuchtet. Die Tastatur ist erstaunlich schwer und liegt dementsprechend gut auf dem Tisch. Sie verwendet übliche Membrantasten, welche natürlich nicht an mechanische Tasten herankommen, aber für den Preis angemessen sind. Zunächst einige negative Aspekte: Die Beschriftung der Tasten ist stellenweise ungewöhnlich/störend. So fällt zunächst auf, dass die Tasten, die vom US-Layout abweichen, verschieden von den restlichen sind. Sie unterscheiden sich in der Schriftart und "Gestaltung". Weiterhin sind die WASD-Tasten (wie nicht unüblich bei einre Gaming-Tastatur) mit zusätzlichen Pfeilen versehen, was aber dafür sorgt, dass die Buchstaben auf einer anderen Höhe als bei den anderen Tasten sind. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung ist unspektakulär. Man kann zwischen drei Farben (rot, blau, violett) wählen (nicht intuitiv, aber die Anleitung hilft) und die Helligkeit mit einem (wackeligen und instabilen) Drehregeler oben auf der Tastatur einstellen. Weiterhin gibt es einen Modus, bei welchem die Tastatur kontinuierlich durch alle drei Farben wechselt ("breathing mode"). Auch das Tastaturlayout ist etwas ungewöhnlich. So befindet sich die #-Taste oben links neben der Backspacetaste, die dadurch *sehr* klein ausfällt. Ich persönlich verfehle sie recht häufig, aber daran wird man sich wahrscheinlich gewöhnen können. Die Entertaste fällt dafür ungewöhnlich groß aus. Nun zum Positiven: Etliche für Spiele wichtige Tasten (darunter WASD, Space und andere) lassen sich gleichzeitig benutzen. Drücke ich beispielsweise in einem Spiel WASD gleichzeitig, bleibe ich auf der Stelle stehen und laufe nicht wie bei vielen anderen Tastaturen in die Richtung, die ich zufällig zuerst gedrückt habe. Es gibt einen Game-Modus, bei welchem die Windowstaste deaktiviert wird, sodass man im Spiel nicht aus Versehen das Startmenü öffnet. Die Tastatur verfügt über zehn Makrotasten, die sich mit beliebigen Funktionen belegen lassen. Die Konfiguration ist auch hier m.E. nicht intuitiv, gelingt aber nach dem Lesen der Anleitung einfach und ohne Probleme. Insgesamt handelt es sich hierbei also um ein für den Preis absolut angemessenes Set, das zwar über einige Schwächen verfügt, aber mir persönlich zumindest trotzdem ausreicht.
