KIDdesigns, Inc Littlest Pet Shop MP3 Speaker System

It would just be a little easier if I could keep the ipod plugged in to a power source while it sits in the holder, cause I have to charge it almost every other day cause my kid loves it so much!

We bought this MP3 for our daughter on Christmas. She was very excited to recieve it and thought it was just adorable, but then we turned it on. The sound is horrible. I know that we shouldn't expect much from such a small speaker, but even in our daughters quiet room with no outside noise the sound is barely audible. We tried to play bedtime stories thru this device and you have to strain to make out the words that the reader is saying. We tried 2 MP3 players as well as different MP3's and all resulted in the same barely audible sound. Beyond that the toy is battery operated with no plug, and it has no controls on the device, not even a volume control. Overall we are very dissapointed by this toys performance and would not recommend it for anything other than a cute, over priced, littlest pet shop decoration.

I purchased this for myself in a retail store marked down from $20.00 to $2.49. Now I know why...It has an on/off switch, it's super cute, but you can hardly make out the music unless your device is already Super Loud on its own. I plugged in my Sony mp3 and could barely hear it. I then plugged in my HTC EVO 4G and it was pretty decent because I had the Volume all the way up on my EVO. I removed my EVO and it was louder on it's own VS. on the LPS speaker. For the clearance price I bought it for, it's worth it, I'd never pay more than that for it sad to say, because I do love LPS!
