TFA 47.1001 Rain Gauge

Having used rain gauges which have a plastic spike on the base for many years, decided it was time to try one of these. Numbers are large and easy to read, emptying is a total breeze. The monthly total ring around the top is not tight enough but this is not a major issue, it can be simply unclipped if required, leaving you with a plain gauge. Overall a great piece of kit and very easy to use. I will test for calibration against other gauges in the weeks ahead.

It does the job very well but I would have liked a bracket to fit it on the fence so it was up out of the way

Sturdy and well marked rain guage. Purchased to replace an old one that my grandson broke with a football. This rain guage is handy as a basic and has a little rim that can be turned as it is marked and numbered to enable rain to stay in it to see how much it is increasing in depth over a week or month. There is no stem with the guage though, to would need probably and appropriate sized length of dowel or similar to place it on. I had the old stem so was able to use that. Without a stem, I would have just placed the actual guage into the flower bed by pushing the base into the soil. It is better on a stem though. Happy with my purchase and cheap enough if it lasts as long as the previous one I will be happy.

This rain gauge was very easy to mount - I put it on an old broom handle. It is very clear and easy to read and I would happily recommend it.

Functional, has an accumulation ring

Bought this along with a weathervane for my husband's new hobby. The picture on the web-site shows it attached to a fence but there are no attachments to actually do this so a little ingenuity is required. So far no rain - amazing - so can't actually check it out.

Buon prodotto mi trovo bene tanto da ricomprarlo ogni volta che si rovina a causa del sole che cuoce la plastica. Dura 2/3 anni esposto al sole. Comoda la ghiera

Regnmätaren är gjord av betydligt tjockare plast än min gamla. Tror att den kommer hålla länge.

Mon dernier pluviomètre n'ayant pas résisté à une très forte gelée matinale après 4 ans de bons et loyaux services, j'ai voulu réinvestir mais dans un modèle plus lisible et durable. Mon choix s'était porté sur ce modèle et je dois dire que je ne le regrette pas. Il est de bonne qualité globale, en plastique épais, avec une graduation très lisible et sa forme est adaptée pour bien collecter la pluie qui tombe. De plus j'apprécie de pouvoir utiliser l'anneau de mesure situé sur le dessus pour garder en mémoire la précédente quantité tombée … Cela fait plusieurs semaines qu'il est installé, il a subit plus d'une 10aine de jours avec de fortes gelées matinales jusqu'à - 5° et aucune casse idem après le passage d'un gros coup de vent... A voir après 1 an d'utilisation si il est toujours opérationnel, si tel n'était pas le cas je reviendrais vous en faire part ici même mais pour le moment la satisfaction est au RDV. Alors à acheter en connaissance de causes à moins de 6 €, le rapport qualité-prix -praticité est correct et il est très utile si comme moi vous possédez un petit jardin bio avec un potager et que vous souhaitez maîtriser votre consommation d' eau ;-))

Das gute Stück hat 5 Jahre gehalten. Bei Wind und Wetter draußen. Gut ablesbar. Mehr kann man zu dem Preis nicht erwarten. Habe mir nun einen gleichen / neuen bestellt. 5 Sterne!
