Great value for the money
The media could not be loaded. This portable monitor is a great value for the money. 144hz refresh rate with 2k resolution.I travel with a Razer gaming laptop a lot and like to carry around a second monitor. I did some research and ran into this monitor from UPERFECT. It is a great value for the money. The resolution is the same as the razer laptop, 1440p, which any gamer knows that is one of the best resolutions for gaming since it doesn't overuse the GPU, but still looks way better than a standard 1080p monitor. The refresh rate is also super nice to have since I can definitely tell the difference between 60hz and 144hz. I would say the priority is the resolution, since you have more pixels available, which means you can show more information on the same screen. The refresh rate is a bonus at this price point, where you can feel the difference on how documents scroll, movies/videos look, etc. When I pair this monitor with my gaming laptop, I don't have to compromise with resolution or refresh rate, this monitor makes my portable set up look uniform. No issues with scaling, or refresh rate looking different when moving my mouse from one monitor to the other.I mainly use this monitor as a complimentary monitor when working or gaming. But my current laptop has a higher resolution, 1440p and a standard 1080p monitor doesn't do it for me since I have issues with scaling. This monitor solves that issue at a good price. Has all the cables you need out of the box and works with one USB-C cable. I really like the fact that I can just plug this monitor in to my laptop with a USB-C cable and it works instantly. The display gets super bright too, actually brighter than my plugged-in monitors which makes it feel very welcome when using it on the go. I don't have to worry about glares and not being able to see items when outdoors, or in well illuminated rooms.10/10 recommend for someone looking for just a little more than a basic monitor. A monitor with really good features, and good performance at a reasonable price point.

Gorgeous display, great for gaming

I’ve been very happy with uperfect, in particular their 1080p 16in 144hz gaming monitor, so when I saw they had a 2k version I had to give it a try.The picture clarity is every bit as good as I would have hoped, and I think photos will illustrate this better than anything I can describe, so I will include some pics and a cutscene from Remnant 2 that show just how stunning the picture quality is. My laptop has a 1080p screen, and you can see from the side-by-side pic how much brighter and clearer the uperfect portable monitor is.As with their other portable monitors, this monitor can connect to steam deck, switch, some laptops, etc, using just a single usbc cable, without the need for a dock or hdmi. I found with my laptop that I still needed separate power for the monitor (I thought the pc might power it…), but with the steam deck and Nintendo switch you just plug your device’s power supply right into the monitor and it will also pass power through the usbc connection to the gaming system — which makes for a clean and simple setup when using your deck/switch at home, offering a much bigger and better viewing experience than handheld.I didn’t notice a difference between my two monitors (1080p and 2k) using the steam deck or switch, which makes sense since neither can output 2k (as far as I’m aware I think switch tops out at 720p output and the deck at 1080). But if you have a device that can output 2k,the difference in quality is very noticeable. And of course, the 144hz refresh rate (on both monitors) is buttery smooth, and more than enough frames for almost any gamer, unless maybe your some sort of weird frame-ophile who needs more than 120 frames to enjoy your games. I can’t tell much of a difference beyond 60 fps, tbh, and certainly not over 100, so this has me covered and then some.As far as the other aspects of the monitor go, it is very light and has many picture options and settings to tinker with, many of which I’m unfamiliar with, so I can’t speak too much to those. But if you are someone who looks for advanced settings in their monitors, you’ll find more here than I’ve seen on any other portable monitor I’ve tried. And going back to the weight for a moment, if you take off the included case (which also folds into a nice, sturdy stand) it is shockingly light. It weighs near nothing, actually; I think the case probably weighs more. And even with the case, it has a low profile and weight, making it great for travel. It also comes with all the cables and adapters you need to get it up and going, including usbc-to-usbc video capable cables, and an hdmi to mini-hdmi cable.Overall, I’m unsurprised to find this is yet another fantastic monitor at a great price by uperfect, and it has the best picture quality of any portable monitor I’ve tried (if you haven’t caught on yet, I have a weird thing for portable devices, and I’ve tried quite a few of these monitors). It is the perfect complement to a powerful laptop, and it can expand your portable work space and/or give you a high res option for movies and games on the go. It’s another easy recommendation from me, and I can also say, now that I’ve tried 3 uperfect monitors and haven’t had a single issue with any of them, the reliability and build quality is also solid.

Great monitor for a great price
Ok, so it's no secret - you'll find multiple reviews on multiple uperfect monitors I've reviewed on here. Why you might wonder? Am I a paid shill? Nope -I bought 3 monitors in total - 1x 18in non-touchscreen 2k, 1x 18in touchscreen 2k and this 16in non-touchscreen 2k monitor. Truth is, my significant other wanted an expansion screen for her 15in laptop and I wanted a travel screen for my Zenbook Duo (because I am a multiscreen prima) - in the end, she really couldn't deal without the touchscreen so I decided to splurge and get one to try. In the end - only the non-touch 18 is going back. While it would be nice to grab a touchscreen 16in 2k monitor from them - it's not an option - so I'll stick with this 16 because the image quality is great - portability is great - the IPS screen is a high quality and refresh rate means I won't get migraines from it. Pixel density isn't listed but appears quite tight.while I preferred the fit and finish of the non-touch 18 I didn't like the jog dial - this unit uses a 3 button design instead of the job dial and for travel - this was preferred since it won't get caught on things like the 18in jog dial which protrudes the way it does. Not a fan of the thicker bottom bezel but it's a mild trade off.

Starts off strong but eventually fades out
Fantastic image, resolution, and form factor. Worked well for about 6 months of moderate use during travel. Setting the refresh to 144Hz started to cause syncing problems, resulting in a black screen. Lowering the refresh to 120Hz or 60Hz fixed the issue for a couple of months, then I ended up with no image once again. Currently I cannot maintain native resolution at 60Hz without the screen going dark. The interval of how long the monitor would actually work continued to drop the more I used it, so I've pretty much stopped using it after a year.
