Exactly what it says it is - great product - needs blender
I just received my order and tried it for the first time today Cons: As other reviews mention it’s incredibly hard to mix and clumpy, if you don’t have a blender I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this product. The powder itself is very sticky. I weight the powder and the measuring cup that comes inside the package is actually 25g of product instead of the 30g serving it suggests. If you’re tracking your intake this is worth noting. Pros: I personally do own a Ninja blender which I used for this (with warm water) and it’s a great product! I added a small amount of milk to mine and it takes amazing, very neutral and feels like drinking a warm cup of broth/milk! Doesn’t taste artificial at all. I could see myself having this as a comfort drink on the sofa in the evening, instead of a hot chocolate or something. Yes it does foam up a lot but I personally really enjoy this. I will probably also have a cup of this warm in the mornings if I do an early gym session before breakfast given how filling and easy it is. Background: My diet generally consists of high fat/high protein. Unfortunately I consumed a high carb diet over the last two years to train for high endurance ultra triathlon training and felt this ruined my health overall, which I’m now trying to recover from. In the past I did a very low carb diet (below 50g daily sometimes none) and found this very beneficial for my mental clarity and health. I’m tracking my carb intake currently to return to this level and improve my insulin sensitivity and inflammation, limiting myself to very little/no carbs wherever possible and becoming fat adapted again. Also simultaneously doing a cutting phase to reduce my fat intake while on a low carb diet, so I need to keep my protein intake at a good level throughout this while remaining low fat. Sometimes it’s not easy to cook a steak when you’re busy or at work, so I think this will make reaching my goals significantly easier. Once I reach my goal weight I personally don’t see a use to purchase this again and return to a maintenance amount of fat, but I think it will be very beneficial throughout this period. Overall I recommend this so far, it’s 1kg of product and the best value I found so far. It would be better if it was grass fed organic source but then I’d just have to pay more for that. As mentioned to prep I used slightly warm water that I had previously boiled in my kettle, and a small amount of milk for flavour, although this is probably unnecessary. This would be impossible to blend without a powerful blender so I don’t recommend purchasing this as a hand mixer won’t work.

Its better than okay
High protein low taste, its pretty gross, doesnt mix too well, smells a bit and creates a ridiculous amount of foam but its worth it, high protein, good aminos and pretty decent quality.

The best Protein powder I've tried, it works for me.
I'm 58, been in and out of the gym on a regular basis over the last umpteen years during which I've used numerous protein powders. I'll explain why this one is my favourite. Look at the list of ingredients and notice how small it is. It's beef protein isolate and there is no warning that it may contain traces of eggs, sea food, soy etc because it doesn't. This is purely anecdotal but this is the first beef protein isolate powder that I've tried and have used regularly and the big difference for me, compared to the milk based protein powders that I used to take, is that I have zero bloating and zero farting now after consumption whereas on the milk protein products that I used to use regularly, bloating and farting were an expected side effect. Another good side effect for me is that I have always had very dry, flaky skin and it's probably the collagen in this product that has massively reduced that in a really beneficial way for me both emotionally and practically. Now, the taste. If you want a product that tastes like a sweet factory has dumped all of their chemicals along with a ton of sugar into a taste explosion of sweetness then this is not the product for you but you'll have to suffer the chemical additives in a powder which matches your expectations. I'm not willing to dump those chemicals and additives into my body, so I choose not to. I go to the gym, shift some weight, do some cardio, put in a big effort and when I get back home, as a grown adult, I'm more than capable of giving the mixer a good shake and chugging this in a few seconds. The taste is what I would expect for a pure product, not great but certainly worth a few seconds of my time to just chug it down to get the benefits. It is a small price to pay compared to the work that I've just done in the gym or park. I hope this helps some of you and I can honestly say that I can't see myself buying anything else but this from now on.

Disgusting
I have a fairly high tolerance for things most people find gross. I am happy to have some foul tasting protein powder if it's nutritious. So I have a hard time believing all the reviews got the same product, maybe some batches are better than others. Whatever taste you're imagining, it's worse. It has a burnt beefy flavour with an unpleasant sourness and bitterness, which maybe doesn't sound too bad, but overall it's hard to describe and absolutely vile. The clumping seemed like a big issue at first but if you can put it in a container you can shake then it will mix fully and have a thin liquid texture. Apart from this I only have good things to say about PeakSupps. I'm sure it's a high quality protein for the money but there is no way I can buy this again.

Mixes well with practice
I bought this powder because it had higher protein content than a lot of more expensive powders - 30g per scoop - ideal amount recommended to start the day. Also, no additives, just pure protein. At first I didn’t like it as I couldn’t get it to mix well but then discovered that it works well if you add just a little liquid to a scoop in a cup and mix to a smooth paste before adding more. It’s personal choice but I mix with a little coconut milk, then add a little more and froth in a milk frother. Then top up with hot water. That may sound horrible to some but It reminds me of a malty Horlicks drink. It’s a good way to break the nighttime fast without a sugar spike.

Tastes utterly vile
I'm sure the protein is very good and good value for money but the taste made me want to barf. Tastes absolutely vile. Went with the pea protein isolate from Peak Supps instead which at least didn't taste like death.

Not as good as whey but good for lactose free people.
Like whey powder but its far easier for your gut and some eggs or meat will make up for the lack of leucine. Unflavoured has a mild coffee taste (think watered down Camp). Helps with muscle recovery (though it works better for joints). Very difficult to dissolve unless whisked well in warm/hot water.

Very Good Protein
Can't yet speak on results, as I only got the product today, but the texture is great, mixes well and although it does have a bit of a beefy flavour, I actually quite enjoy it!
