I wrote a long review and I guess it timed out so now I'm doing the short version. Bought this item and another one which had more reviews. I liked this one more because of the hard case, carabiner to attach for quick access, and it collapses and stays collapsed (the other I bought to test out just folds, but doesn't stay folded unless it in its soft bag). I tested it out with the clothes I plan to wear on my trip. Didn't have to pull my shorts and underwear down like we would to use a toilet. Just unzip and pull your clothes away from you to fit the funnel in place. High part goes toward the back, low part sits in front. Adjusting is easy, just move it around to get it in the right place so you feel like it's covering enough in the front and back, lean forward, and pee. I waited a little longer after I was done to allow everything to drip down, then shook the funnel to make sure everything was out. Grabbed some toilet paper to wipe after pulling the funnel away from me. Leaning forward slightly the entire time is important. If you stand up straight or lean back, you're probably gonna be covered in pee. Lean forward! It's lightweight. The hard plastic that fits to the body is comfortable and durable. Easy to hold, doesn't feel like it's going to slip at all. Rinse it with some water or use some type of paper product to wipe it/stuff it to absorb anything remaining. If you don't have water or paper products, maybe gently shake it away from you to remove any excess fluid and hold it away from you when collapsing it so it doesn't splatter on you. Some people said it's hard to collapse... No it's not. It's just like anything else that's silicone and collapses.. laundry basket, strainer, measuring cups... It's not hard. I recorded a video showing ease of use.. got out of frame a little bit but you'll see, it's pretty easy to use. Opening measures about 5 inches which I felt was more than enough coverage front to back. I tested it with the plasric extension attachment. I don't think it use this without that attachment. I also did test it in my toilet, so for outdoors... into a bush or grass or something other than dirt directly in front of you is a good idea because it'll probably splash. Definitely worth the purchase. Worked wonderfully. Color and appearance doesn't matter, but function does, and this thing works. Recommend this item for sure.

Love this item, it works as intended for the short time I needed it The quality is good , comfortable and easy to use if you give yourself time to get it in place before you have to really go. There will be leakage if you’re rushing so don’t wait until the last minute before you need to go. It took some practice to get used to collapsing it for travel but it also works as it should. I love that it comes with a traveling case. I recommend rinsing it after every use to eliminate the smell of urine. I typically remove the bottom nozzle if using the extender before rinsing. If using the extender be sure to screw it in. Using the extender gives better control of where the fluids will end up. It’s 80% soft silicone, the other 20 is a hard plastic. My color is grey and no one will know you have it if using the case for storage. The appearance may be intimidating at first but once you get used to it you’ll be okay.

I got this for my wife and she says it works great. She says its useful while being outdoors in the wild. It very compact and perfect for traveling, does not leak and very sturdy. Cleans easily. She highly recommends it for any women enjoying the outdoors.

I have tried a number of these devices. This comes to as close to perfect as I have found so far. The Pros: #1. The case is durable and doesn't look like a "personal urination device". #2. The device extends out fully very easily. You don't have to mess with it to get it ready for use. Just take it out of the case and extend it. I have also been able to just give it a flick of the wrist and have it open as well. #3. The solid top is so much easier to hold onto rather than the ones that fold at the top. You almost have to hold those open. But with this one, just get a good grip on the solid part. #4. When the unit is extended, there's no flooding. You know what I mean. You really gotta go, but you're afraid that the pee is going to back up and overflow the little collection area at the top. Maybe it's the shape, but everything just flows right on through. Whether you're going in a bottle or just letting fly in the woods, I feel confident that it's going to work right and not end up being a wet experience. #5. Since the device stays open, it's easy to clean. Just dump some water through, spray it down with disinfecting spray, wipe it down with a disinfecting wipe, etc. Whatever method you choose, the device feels solid enough to take some serious cleaning. I actually rinse it and let it air dry fully open. #6. They included a section of hose that can be attached to the end of the device in case you need to have some distance between you and the bottle or ground. I personally never used it so I can't say if it's leakproof, etc. The Cons: #1. There's really no easy way to get this thing folded back into the storage shape. If you think you're just going to push on the bottom or top and have it fold up right away, you're mistaken. You have to use both hands to get the folds just right so it will fold up correctly. If the silicone was a little bit thicker, you might be able to get away with just pushing on an end, but as is, there's going to be some wrestling with this thing. Once they get this to the point that it can be closed easily, I think this will be everyone's favorite. I know it's mine already; just hoping for a version 2.0.

Pee Conch is my new hiking and camping buddy. It's so nice not to have to pull pants down or expose my bare rear to the brush I'm hiding in off trail. No more peeing on your feet or having it accidentally running down your leg.. The hard plastic opening is the perfect shape and great that it is not flexible. Yeah flexible silicone is easy to stow away, but the sturdy plastic opening has more than one perk. First, you're not going to accidentally squeeze the opening wrong while you're trying to get it positioned or after you start going. Second, pressing the hard plastic up against your skin helps you start to go easier while standing up. I first experienced peeing into a container while camping, using a triangular container that seems like it's meant for collecting urine for medical purposes. I found it much easier to let it flow when I concentrated on the seal I was making towards the back. This helped a lot when I went to use the pee conch. My body was saying wtf at first but after applying a little pressure it was not nearly as difficult. The only drawback is that it has to be rinsed/dried before it gets put away and the process of getting it out and assembling it real quick when you gotta go can take extra time if you might just usually cop a squat. Overall it's super fun to be able to pee standing up and you can easily aim this into a bottle if needed. Practice in the shower or bravely over the toilet the first couple times.

Works great. Easy to use, do a trial run in shower. Then move to try in toilet. Works well using attachment. Feels sturdy and does not leak if you press the hard collar against yourself with larger side toward the back and lean forward a little. Practice folding and unfolding by watching videos. Helps alot for people with hip and transition standing and sitting issues or you just don't want to use a public restroom. Simply rinse out. Good idea to have a disposable waterbottle to rinse out in toilet. You might want to use a zipper bag to keep wetness contained if you can't rinse it. You could hold toilet paper over the bottom hole to avoid drips as you remove it and you could aim it into a water bottle or urine collection container while camping or not in a toilet. You might want to practice how much volume.Then blot yourself dry.

I tried 2 different female urinals for hiking, and the first one I thought was good but after extensive testing, it did not have enough capacity and overflowed. So I tried this one and it has worked in testing and in the real world on hikes and at the side of the road. I'm able to use it without dropping my pants, and it works well. Aiming is a little harder with this one and I get the ick collapsing it because of it being wet (I took baby wipes to clean it after) but it's working well and I'm happy with it . It comes with a carrying case, but I had it hooked on my backpack and a branch ripped off the carabiner loop but my hiking buddy saw it fall and returned it to me.

I had a couple mishaps where it scrunched and folded causing leakage. These were when I was trying not to pull pants down as far to be more discreet. I found it easier to have a jacket tied around my waist or wear my poncho so it covered my backside and face away from possible people, then I could pull pants down further, and that worked great. It’s a bit awkward to fold after while trying to keep hands mostly clean, I ended up putting it point first into the ziplock and pushing the large end into the bag to get it to accordion fold. The end unscrewing makes it fit smaller but more fiddly to store and once came off when I was unfolding it, so if you have room plan to store it in a larger ziplock. Mine was sandwich size, quart might work better. Gallon would be easiest. It is easy to clean. I used it once with a water bottle inside my tent which worked fine just awkward to hold. If you’re not going for packability get a less flexible style with longer funnel. I used this on a 3 day 2 night backpacking trip.

Used this lots of times while out and about, it's especially great while camping - you don't have to leave the tent late at night and because of it's design, it goes where its supposed to and not on the floor, I direct it into a bottle, and not had any problems so far.
