Spigen Screen Protector [1 Pack] for MacBook Air 15 inch (M5/M4/M3/M2)

This screen protector for the MacBook Neo is really good and i highly recommend it. Installation was simple if you take your time with it which i did and it went on flawlessly, had some bubbles but got them out easily and it fitted perfect. This screen protector is ideal for students who take there computer everywhere in there bag as it protects your screen from friction against the keyboard and screen. Would definitely order one of these again, definitely get one it's worth the price.

I have the clear version. This is a very clever protector as the adhesive is just in the tiny black band around the edge. This makes fitting easy and there will not be any air bubbles. As it is real glass, it gives really good screen protection. The glass is 0.4mm thick. Including the adhesive band, this gives an overall thickness of 0.5mm. So this is thicker than the "conventional" adhesive films. But it is still below the rubber gasket so that's fine. If you're unsure about the fixing procedure, there are YouTube videos you can find. The Spigen Glas.tR Slim tempered glass screen protector does its job well, I recently bought a MacBook Neo and was looking for accessories that would protect my purchase. Firstly I will mention that the packaging gives me confidence as it doesn't look generic like other similar offerings, inside the packaging is cleaning wipes, dust stickers, an installation guide, fibre cloth, glass removal tool and most importantly the tempered glass itself. The installation of this product was surprisingly easy and straight forward; you could either use the QR code which takes you to a video of the installation on the back of the packaging or the small installation guide inside the packaging. Regarding the small installation guide it uses illustrations and very minimal words in 8 steps, this is great just in case you don't have access to the internet at the time of installation. If I am honest I hate installing tempered glass on anything and I hate the sight of air bubbles, followed with the process of removing them afterwards. But after installing the tempered glass, I only had to focus on properly aligning the tempered glass, to my surprise there was no bubbles that need to be pushed out. I only had to re-align the tempered glass 3 times without using the included tool, overall it was easy to correct especially with the handles, reducing the installation errors. After the installation I made sure to check that my camera was not blurry or being blocked by anything. I have used this tempered glass for a few hours and has not fallen out and sits flush, it is worth mentioning that I use a laptop shell cover and there no conflict between the accesories. When I close the MacBook Neo there's not massive gap. This product is for you if...: -You already recognise Spigen brand and quality -You want to protect your screen and avoid repairs (£20 Screen protection vs £100 regret) -You want to use a MacBook Neo shell accessory -You work in a environment where there debris /shrapnel My only concern is that while my experience was great, there might be someone who accidentally breaks the tempered glass during the installation, there is no spare tempered glass included and there are slightly cheaper options that provide that assurance. This product from Spigen otherwise is solid.

Really pleased with this screen protector. Once it’s on, you can barely tell it’s there — the display remains crisp and clear. There is a bit more glare than the original screen, but it’s nothing major. Installation was straightforward, and I managed to get it on without any bubbles, which is always a win. I mainly use it to avoid the slightly sticky feel of the original screen when cleaning, and to help preserve the screen’s condition over time. All in all, a solid purchase if you're after protection without fuss.

Update: While the glass went on very easily and I was initially very happy with it, after receiving a covert to put it into it seemed that every time I picked up the laptop in the case it turned on. The protector, while very slim, is just too close to the keyboard when the little bit of flex of the lid is taken into account. So if your use case doesn’t involve taking a laptop anywhere then I’m sure it would work for you just not for me. I know from past experience that the grease from my fingers gets transferred to the screen via the keys I type on and it bugs me a lot. After trying to get a film screen protector on, I failed to get it straight and it had enough air bubbles to make it look like an aero, I scrapped it and went for glass. It's more expensive, sure, but it went on without a hitch; being rigid it's easy to line up and it stuck so quickly and easily that I thought for a moment I'd done something wrong. If there is a negative it's that it's not anti reflective but I didn't want it for that.

Just bought and fitted one of these to the new MacBook Air M3 13 inch. Yes, I did initially hesitate at the price. However, it's extremely easy to fit and most importantly; fits without any of those usual, annoying bubbles under the surface. I've fitted loads of screen protectors to countless Apple devices; this one is the outright star. Just one thing to note; spend a bit of time on the preparation. Clean the screen and use dab pad sticker to remove dust particles. The cleaner wipes and cloth etc are included with the product. As a final steer; I've discovered if you use a torch (perhaps iPhone one) and cast the light over the screen - prior to fitting - you will easily see any residual dust particles or 'rainbow' effect smudges that can be left behind after cleaning with the alcohol wipe. The torch light process will kill, stone dead, any bubbles from forming. The screen protector works in all light conditions and does not, in any way, compromise the clarity of the screen. Plus, no annoying bubbles. It's a goer. Highly recommend.
