This jig worked well
This jig worked well for getting accurate placement of the pulls on my new cabinet.A couple of tips:1. Make the depth is square to the “T” part, there is a little play.2. Cinch tightly on the knobs as they can come loose.I would recommend this jig, it saved a lot of time and was definitely worth what I paid for it

Makes drilling drawer/cabinet handles easy, but ever so slightly out of square
Just tested this out on some recycled shop drawers to see how it works in a low risk environment. The drawers came without handles and had some existing handles I wanted to use that didn’t match the existing holes.I seem to be one of those people that “measures twice and drills once” and still seems to misdrill hole locations when installing handles so I was hoping this would help overcome my measuring errors. Long story short, it did a great job and made it easy to get consistent and repeatable results! In my case since I already had reference holes in the drawers, I used them as a guide to set the height. One note, the instructions have the piece that sits on top of the drawer to measure the height installed upside down! Flip it so the locking part is on top, not below the base. One set up, I aligned the handles with the marks on the guides and ensured they were centered. Be sure to clamp the guide to the drawer to prevent movement and then drill your holes using a 3/16” bit. That’s it! As you can see the handles fit perfectly on the first try. I didn’t use the measuring scales on the jig but they were accurate over 4” compared to my calipersBesides the critique about incorrect assembly instructions the only other two minor negatives are that:1. The top plate is about .1mm out of square with the vertical guide when measured at both ends of the top/base plate ends, which can make the handle ever so slightly crooked (but you really have to look). I think adding a playing card to one end of the base will fix this easy enough.2. The tool comes in a great storage case, but assembly requires an allen wrench for two small screws. This doesn’t make sense because all the other screws are knurled knobs and the smaller screws are in a position where user a knob would have been fine and made disassembly for storage in the included case much easier and you wouldn’t have to keep track of the wrench (and they would have to include one).Other than those minor complaints, this is going to make my live a ton easier when installing drawer handles. No more stress about drilling the wrong location!!!

Worked great after I figured out how to set it up
This is a handy tool when having to drill a lot of drawer knob/pulls for cabinetry. I just finished a job where I had 50+ pulls to drill for drawer fronts. This was the first time I used the tool, and it didn't come with setup instructions, so I had stalled on using it. After several minutes of looking it over, I found out where the screws were supposed to go and how it was supposed to be set up. This sped up the marking and drilling process. It is so much easier to just throw the template on there and drill as opposed to marking out each with a tape measure. Seems to be a good product and it works, so I am happy with it.

Excellent, All-Metal Jig That's Easy to Use
I highly recommend this jig, it's easy to use, accurate and well made. It can be flipped over to drill left and right handed doors without any readjustment. I liked that it's all metal and the wide stop that rests on the drawer top or door side is wide enough that it make placement both easy and is very stable. This model comes with the extension as this allows easy positioning on wider drawer fronts without marking the middle of each drawer, and also comes with a nice storage case, although you have to disassemble the jig to store it. There are cheaper units out there, but I'd recommend skipping the plastic ones if you want to ensure a good result. My only concern with this jig is the small knurled knobs that lock the guids and stops in place can come loose, particularly if you're drilling a lot of drawers/doors.

Well constructed--great case
If you need to install a bunch of handles/pulls, a good jig is an absolute must if you're going to make them consistent. I have a smaller one with a 16" slide but I often work in larger cabinet boxes and was looking for something a little larger. This should work well. It's all metal, nicely finished, and everything is tight when assembled--no slop in the tracks. I don't have any wide drawer fronts to install at the moment, but put it together and used a couple squares on it. It's pretty good. Nothing that requires assembly like this is going to be perfect--that should be a given. Before I use it on a real project, I'll always tune it on a board that I know is parallel on both sides, then draw lines referencing off both long sides of my board and making sure the lines are perfectly parallel to each other. If not, then the board edges might not be as true as you think they are, or you might need to shim it with a feeler gauge or a playing card or two. That's what I do with all my jigs like this--never screw it together and assume it's going to be square and start drilling into the work piece you've spent who knows how many weeks designing and building. But overall, the quality is great and so long as the pieces fit tight when screwed together (which they do), that's the important part. FYI, the instructions are lousy--they don't really tell you anything about how to assemble or use this. But, if you're purchasing it, odds are you won't have a problem figuring that out--if not, there are plenty of videos online.

Wish I had this yeatrs ago
I have used this for so many things already! Its very handy when you are a one person show. It helps me keep track of where I need to be without finding someone to be my helper. It's held up to a lot of abuse in a short amount of time too.

Solidly made but not necessarily right on the money!
This jig seems to be well constructed, and perhaps I will find some use for it. It is slightly interesting to figure out how it all goes together, but I finally got there. My issue with accuracy is that the part that forma a "T" on the main length does not line up precisely - it is just slightly off. Using this as a template, it probably won't matter much as your holes should still line up the same. Most carpenters that I know DO make a template for this kind of work but it is usually with a piece of hardboard or cardboard, and I'm not sure that I want to go through this much work.
