Ankle Ice Pack Wrap, Reusable Gel Cold Compression for Plantar Fasciitis

This item is as written on Amazon. It fits right on the foot, its comfy, cold, and it's very soothing. I definitely believe it's worth the money. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality ankle ice pack.

Before I bought this item, I tried three other ice packs for my ankle. With two ice packs, I could not get them to stay put on my ankle. The third is similar to this Everlasting Ice RX but did not fit properly and made limited contact with my ankle. Yes, I'd like it to stay cold longer. So I bought a second one and I slip it on when the first loses its chill. A small price to pay for help with persistent ankle pain.

The ice pack wrap is more of an angled sleeve, like a sock without the toes. It does get cold and I find that it helps with inflammation after prolonged exercise like hiking or golf. It stays cold for about 15 minutes or so then it needs to go back into the freezer. Overall it’s much easier to use than a traditional flat ice pack.

This ankle wrap was perfect for the arthritis in my ankles. Other ice packs only covered so much this one covers all around the ankle. I am happy with this purchase.

The size recommendations are a little off. These wraps run big as I wear a size 10.5 shoe, and the L/XL was way too loose with no real compression. Even after ordering the smaller size, it fit better but was still a bit loose. Because of that, you don’t get the snug compression you’d hope for. On the positive side, the packs freeze quickly and are easy to use. The downside is that they only provide cold relief for about 15 minutes before warming up. I usually end up supplementing with soft ice packs underneath to extend the cooling time. Overall, they’re okay if you need quick ankle relief, but I’d recommend ordering on the smaller side and not expecting long-lasting cold therapy.

This is a great product. Keeps cold temperature for about half an hour. Is a comfortable and effective compression sleeve. I have also ordered a knee brace from the same Company.

I got this because I bought a TheraICE Pro ankle compression wrap thinking it could do both hot and cold, unfortunately for me, it only does cold and at the price, I wasn’t willing to risk damaging it so I needed to find one that would do heat as well. It seems to do a good job holding heat (I’m past the ice stage so can’t comment on the cold retention) for almost half the cost of the TheraICE. It’s not meant for hours long heat therapy so the 20-ish minutes it holds heat is good enough. And it takes 20 seconds in the microwave if I want longer. It’s comfortable, but I wouldn’t say it’s a firm compression. It’s like wearing a sock. It’s easy to pull on and stays in place, holding the heat/cold around the ankle and foot where needed. I wear a women’s shoe size 7, lower leg below calf muscle is 10.5”. I bought a S/M. It does stretch and I can put my hand down it while wearing it if I wished. It would also fit over socks.

The gel has all broken up and disintegrated after 2 uses. Very disappointing
