Q: Can you apply heat transfer vinyl to this? Wasn't sure what the heat settings were for this type of fabric.

You for sure could on the cotton strap part, but if you were applying it to the bag itself you would have to be very careful with, I don't know if I would try one that required heat... but because of the material a sticker might stick very well, I would put it on the inside though. My daughter LOVES this bag!

The backpack I have looks like it is not being sold anymore. The one I have water does repel off the bag. The pocket in front has cloth on the outside and the pockets on the sides where you can put water bottles are cloth as well, but the inside of these pockets are not cloth. Hope this helps.
