Der Adapter bietet eine einfache Lösung, um meine Ubiquiti UniFi-Geräte mit Strom zu versorgen, ohne dass ich zusätzliches Netzteil oder Kabel verlegen muss. The Ubiquiti U-POE+ is a simple but very useful bit of kit for powering a PoE+ device when a PoE switch is not available or when you only need to add power to a single network connection. Setup could not be easier. Connect the injector to the mains, plug the network cable from your router or switch into the LAN port, then connect the PoE output to the device. Within a few moments, the connected equipment is powered and online without needing a separate power supply near the installation point. I used it with Ubiquiti equipment and it worked exactly as expected. Power delivery has been stable, the connection has remained reliable and there have been no random dropouts or overheating issues. It feels solid and well made, which is reassuring when it may be left tucked away behind furniture or installed in a network cupboard for years. The compact design is also useful. It is small enough not to dominate a socket area, and the clean white finish matches other Ubiquiti hardware nicely. There are no unnecessary controls, bright displays or settings to configure. It simply sits there quietly doing its job, which is exactly what a PoE injector should do. It is particularly handy for access points, cameras and other network devices installed where a mains socket would be inconvenient. Running one Ethernet cable for both data and power keeps the installation much neater and avoids the usual collection of extra plugs and trailing leads. It may not be the most exciting purchase in the network cabinet, but it is dependable, easy to install and does precisely what it promises.
