First Impressions: The bottle arrived securely packaged, showing the manufacturer's general attention to quality. However, that first impression was slightly marred by the broken lid after I screwed it on a bit too tightly. Be careful! Usage Experience: The methylated spirits burn exceptionally well, particularly for my camping stove. It provided a clean, efficient flame, making my outdoor cooking endeavors a breeze. The only downside was the lid; it broke, requiring me to use cling film to maintain a proper seal. Target Audience: This product is suitable for campers, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone in need of a reliable fuel source, assuming you can work around the lid issue. Can be used for all sorts of other things too. Pros: - Burns cleanly and efficiently - Ample 2-liter quantity - Secure packaging Cons: - Faulty lid requiring makeshift sealing Longevity: Despite the lid issue, the contents will likely last me several camping trips due to its 2l capacity and effective burning qualities. In summary, this methylated spirits bottle is an excellent fuel choice, but the lid quality needs improvement.

Used this to clean the card reader head in my prepayment gas meter as it was often giving an error when inserting the card and getting it work was a real hassle of trial and error. An engineer had come round, sent by the gas company, and said the meter needed replacing and that it would have to be smart meters.. which meant they'd have to replace my electric meter as well. That seemed a bit extreme to me so I said don't bother, wait. I'll see what I can do before we do that... Did a little research, ONLY Methylated Spirit should be used for this kind of thing. Clean cloth, spirit on it, wiped the cloth on the "back" of my gas card, put it in and out of the meter a few times with the spirit side up, wiped card clean with a dry cloth. Card reader now works every time. Crazy that gas engineers don't know you can just clean the card reader head in literal minutes to fix this kind of problem... or perhaps they are just trying to force smart meters onto everyone or something. I also got some "Shrinkable Food Covers" to put over the face of my gas meter from now on to protect it from the elements and hopefully prevent it from getting dirty again.

All of the wooden doors in my house have a build up of dirt/make-up around the handles. This worked really well for cutting through the filth, just rubbing with a cloth. Good size bottle, seals well with no leakage.

Methylated spirits is useful for many things. Great for getting sticky glue from glass, a great degreaser. Arrived swiftly and well packaged. AAA Recommended

Burns clean in Pot Warmer and useful around the house for cleaning Label Goo off things. A must have in any handyman's workshop.
