Install was easy – took me about 15 minutes, tops! I’m very happy with the quality, the snug fit, and the wide range of color choices. It really blends in with my brick, the previous vent was an eyesore.Update: I Iiked the product so much I wanted to use them on my exterior bathroom exhaust vents. I called the company to see if they would work for this application and they said they do! I don’t think it mentions it in the product description so I figured it’d update my review. They work really well and having all the vents match is so satisfying, very happy X 3!

Works like a dream. Replaced an awful hopeless louvered version that kept getting blocked with lint fuzz and could not keep mice out.Install was a breeze, especially since it interfaced perfectly with the 4" vent pipe that was in the wall. Even with the vent attached firmly the doors close tight when the dryer shuts off.Hope it holds up as it's really flimsy plastic, but the thing works extremely well with a clever dual doors design, one of which plugs the hole, the other flap seals over the entire face to keep pests out.It is extremely light and flexible so take care not to over tighten screws. I will check in 3-6 months to see if it still opening without interference and update this review.

This vent cover looks great, and plastic isn't flimsy despite being lightweight. Installation is easy. Definitely an upgrade from what Big Box stores have in stock. The dual flap design should really help with letting less cold into the house. When the dryer pushes air through the double flap, it opens nicely... and it rattles. Since the vent is right outside my bedroom window, I can hear it, it bothers me - and I will find a solution to dampen the sound and vibration rather than return it. It is a nice vent cover. Worth the effort.

This item is pretty great. We were having an issue with condensation in our dryer on super humid days. It seems to seal well preventing any leaks and was super easy to install. It comes with two different areas for the “guide holes” and screws and anchors. It has an inner cover to slip over the tubing in case the hole on the inside of the wall is too large. Even though it’s magnetically closed the magnet is fairly weak but works well to hold the outer flap closed until the dryer is turned on.The sheet metal tubing is a bit flimsy and bends very easily but I sealed mine with some 3m aluminum tape and it seems to be performing well under the pressure of the dryer fan. It’s a great value and looks nice to boot.

This vent cover is so easy and quick to install, it looks good and functions amazingly. It obviously promotes good airflow because the first few times we used it we had piles of lint coming out (we had cleaned it less than a year previously). Can't recommend enough!

Always surprised of the amount of lint that gets by the dryer filter and collects on the vent screen. Newer dryers are even worst. We live in the woods in a log house so we always need pest guards. Clean the vent line with brush once a year. Dyer performance and reducing potential fire risk reasons for purchase.This new vent requires no screening, seals better and improves air flow. Should save on energy to dry clothes and when not using by having a better seal.Non-typical installation was easy using the hardware provided. Closes reliably when new. Offers better access for future duct cleaning.So impressed ordered a second one for a bathroom fan vent. Don’t have the lint issue but need a better seal when off.Installed for bathroom fan. Seals nicely when off. Can tell it improved airflow from the old hood.Simple, well designed, well made, easy to install and maybe save some money too on energy bills.Recommended to friends.

An outdoor vent for my dryer. Works really well, easy to install, great price!

This vent cover was a bit disappointing. I found that the outside cover with its magnetic door retention sometimes keeps the cover closed, preventing the inside flap to open when the air flow is not strong. The length of our vent pipe is about 20 feet from dryer to outside, and air flow sometimes is not strong enough to open the flap adequately. I ended up taking the outside cover off and used it with just the inside flap, and that was an improvement.

This vent works fantastic! My clothes actually dried quicker with this vent installed. No more room for lint and hair to get trapped. Always amused me at how quick the old vent would fill up with lint making the dryer eventually through up an error code.An added bonus is that due to the design, it makes it incredibly easy to open up and push a rotating duct brush through the pipe and out the exterior, making duct cleaning fast and simple. The exterior larger door does have a magnet to shut the door closed when not in use.Just be sure that it is installed leveled or else the doors won't shut correctly and may allow pests, cold air to get in.

Haven't installed yet so can not review weathering and funtion (waiting till spring)

This dryer door is a nice idea, but couldn't install without the aluminum 4" tube and have to return. I would of gladly paid more if it was included.
