We've been using two of these blankets in our living room for the last year. They're okay. They're thin like pajamas, not plush. I live in NE PA and we have cold winters. I have my heat set at 68-69 throughout the winter and sometimes I'm still cold with just one of these blankets on. I don't like to be hot either. This blanket is fine as an additional blanket or for a pet. I wash these at least twice every month and they still look brand new.

I've had this blanket for only a couple of months and have washed it only a few times. So far, after 4 to 5 washes , it's still holding fine (I send my laundry to a laundromat. I'm pretty sure they're not careful, so I'd say this blanket is quite sturdy for holding well the extremely hot dryer).The "ivory" color is more like a nude/faded beige, but it's quite nice. Of course a fleece blanket isn't the fanciest and prettiest thing in the world, so I keep mine under the flat sheet, under the blanket. This way, it's not visible and it works.I live in NYC and we've had a harsh February - it's been the coldest February since 1934. Temperature have dropped as low as -10F at times, specially at night. In my apartment, heat is controlled by the landlord, who keeps heat in the lowest temperature possible by law. In addition, my a/c unit was not installed properly and a lot of cold air enters my bedroom. Needless to say, my bedroom is quite cold all year around, and my husband and I were extremely cold for several nights before. Thankfully we bought this blanket before February began.As I said, we keep it as the 1st layer, so it's closest to the bed/mattress. It's wonderful b/c it keeps our bed nice and cozy and we never have the cold spots you get when you move around your bed in the middle of a freezing night. And our bed is so cozy in the moment we go to sleep (no need to lie down in a cold bed). For our around 40-45F bedroom, we use this fleece + a flat sheet + a thin comforter. We sleep in shorts and t-shirts and are quite comfortable for the entire night.It's a great addition to your cold bed for the winter and would be nice in a guest bedroom, just to make the bed comfier. Value is great. I would highly recommend this product!

Just what I wanted. Lightweight and easy to handle

I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife, but we both use it. My wife and I were both tired of the throw blankets we've used for years on the couch and recliners during cooler weather. Regular sized throw blankets just aren't big enough to cover you fully, either your feet are covered or your upper body and arms are covered, but not both. After years of putting up with this, or using two or more throws to fully cover ourselves, I decided to get a twin sized blanket. This blanket is just what we needed. It is big enough for us to cuddle under together on couch and more than big enough for one of us, without being too cumbersome. It is the perfect weight also. It is lightweight, yet provides plenty of warmth and is incredibly soft. Every time my wife snuggles into it on the couch she thanks me again for buying it. I had read some reviews saying that this blanket sheds fibers like crazy, so I washed and dried it as soon as I took it out of the package. It did fill up the dryer's lint trap, but with each subsequent washing there have been fewer fibers in the trap, so in my experience, the shedding of fibers does diminish significantly after a few washing and drying cycles.

I recently ordered this blanket not for conventional purposes- I live in a rental home with cream/white carpet in the bedroom. I have two cats. Anyone with cats knows there will be the throwing up of a hair ball or just in general because kitties are kitties. Not wanting to damage the carpeting I have a fairly large room with a good 6x8 foot area with no furniture etc and of course kitty can never make it onto the bathroom tile just feet away -so I use a blanket instead of an area rug to cover the exposed carpeting as much as possible. They adhere well to the carpet for some reason ( static -? I don’t know ) but makes it so I can vacuum it with no catching issues and acts as a barrier for the times they do get sick and I’m not there to catch it immediately and clean and shampoo it up. Yet it’s enough to keep from staining the carpet underneath. I don’t want to use expensive blankets just ones that are durable enough to fulfill my needs and can be thrown in the washing machine - I’m just trying this one and I will say it is quite thin for a fleece blanket. It was advertised that it resists pulling which with kitty claws is important so I’m going to give it a try. But if I were buying this for conventional use as a blanket I would be returning it just because it is so paper thin. I can’t imagine it providing much warmth . The color is as shown - it’s advertised as “ super soft “ which again for a fleece blanket was very disappointing feels more like a bath towel. So again I can’t vouch for it as a blanket per say but for softness and warmth I would look elsewhere.

Perfect fleece blanket. Warm but light. Very soft. Arrived smelling weird but washing took care of that and it washes great-- does not shed a ton of fuzzies.

We're people who sleep with our bedroom windows open year around.I've been looking for King Sizes Flannel flat sheet for my Quern size bed with an 18" mattress. No luck.I came across this on Amazon and read the advertisement wrong for this blanket. When it was delivered I thought what the heck!I was thinking about sending it back, but since the temperature was supposed to drop significantly I decided to give it a quick wash and use it as the bottom sheet on our bed.What a great mistake I made! Instead of getting into bed with the linen sheets and trying to warm up the rest of the night, this blanket is very soft, comfortable and warms up within seconds! It's like a great big warm hug!Now hubby says, " I opened the windows", instead of " shut those damn windows.This the best " mistake" I've made!
