A inexpensive upgrade from phenolics
Dressed up some phenolic horns with these. Some shimming needed but they sparkle pretty good compared to the old ones.

These are only the diaphragm. No magnet.
I tried and tried, but no matter what I did, these simply would not work for my application. They need to be so precisely placed that it's nearly impossible to install them without it rubbing. They list a bunch of compatible speakers, but these were not able to actually be installed, as the OEM tweets have index pins to center the coil. This board does not, rendering them uninstallable. I'm sure the coils themselves are probably decent, as it's hard to mess a tweeter up, but as far as ease of install, and wide compatibility, they fall a bit short. Unless you're a super experienced speaker repair tech, you'd probably be better off purchasing an entire tweeter with the magnet already installed.
