Great for the Price
Chromebooks are the way to go if you don't need to do heavy video or image editing. They're so much quicker without needing the ram and memory space of a windows pc or mac, which in turn means you don't have to spend nearly as much $ to get a decent machine. Also, it works seamlessly with google workspace and drive which I use extensively. This particular device works very well so far. I purchased two of the newest version of this chromebook from a big box store for my kids while they were on sale. They are amazing! I was so impressed that I decided I wanted one myself. The sale ended and I couldn't justify spending that much more on myself so I came to Amazon to see what they could offer when I came across this older refurbished version. After taking a few days to think it over, I decided to take the chance. I am glad I did. While it is not as snappy as the latest version which has a newer, more powerful processor, this is working very well and is WAY faster than my lenovo laptop running with windows. I have not come across anything I can't do, but want to do, with it. That said, I don't really do much aside from work related tasks like email, web browsing, youtube watching, etc. I have participated in one zoom session so far - no problems there either. The AUE date on this device is June 2027 - that means it will stop receiving chrome OS updates in just under 4 years. That works out to ~$40/year based on the price I paid, which is the same as the new versions I bought that have an 8 year AUE date but I am only out the ~$160 upfront for this one. A good thing if you are budget conscious.

It was just as assumed.

Chromebook
This chromebook looks nice and is perfect for what I need, but I'm unhappy that it came refurbished when no where on the purchase screen did it say it was refurbished. Also, I paid an additional 10 dollars more for a pen and the pen I received is like that of one you buy at the dollar store. It would have been nice to have a clearer picture of what I was getting before I bought this but whatever

Sticky power button
The Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 is overall a good product; however, the power button was sticky. I bought a used product so cosmetic issues are to be expected. The best I can tell was that this time was return due to the faulty power button. If the button had been repair/replace ~<$20 it would be perfect. This chromebook was not "refurbished". It was resold with a stick power button. The laptop was a very good price, but it would randomly shutdown due to the sticky power button. After getting fed up with random shutdowns, I opened the laptop and used flush cutters to remove the power button (the lock key will boot the device). It appears to work and I have purchased a replacement board (with two ribbon cables/~3 screws). In other words I would have been happy to buy this item with a bad power button (at the price) that randomly shutdowns the machine if I were made aware. Overall good laptop but they know that they did not fix the issue when they sold it as refurbished. I might be nit picking but one screw's plastic insert was none functional but did not effect the laptop significantly.P.S. I removed the button (at the far left) of the second image (note the solder marks).TLDR: Laptop had a power button that would randomly shutdown the laptop. It was fix by removing the button (bootable via lock key on keyboard). Price was very good.
