does this work for glass wall tile?

Works well for granite and ceramic tile but i am not certain about glass tile i would suppose it works with glass as well

Can this be used as a grout as well? Looking to do some outdoor mosaic work with tiles

Answered another question regarding this and ...funny you should ask! I have been using this to do mosaic/embelishments on my brick house. Have gone through several tubs of the stuff and really like the convenience of it. I've used it to adhere old silverplate, a horseshoe...large China pieces and recently, a decorative clay tile. My first was done last year and I carefully used mortar over the thin set, then sprayed with a mortar sealer. So far, it has lasted through one Ohio winter!

Can this be used on shower floor?

No. This product is not recommended for areas with standing water. This product is not really mortar, it's mastic with sand added. You need real mortar for a shower floor, which does not come pre-mixed.

Is this good for tuckpointing an old brick chimney?

I wouldn't. Brick mortar is cheap and would work much better.
