FIXED Star 502B Tactical T6 LED Flashlight 1000 Lumens Single Mode Torch White Light Outdoors for Hiking Camping

I purchased this alongside the Skysted WF-502B CREE XM-L2 U2 U3 LED Single Mode light. This one works well, and like the Skysted has a single mode, which I adore. I have absolutely no use for blinking modes and find the various brightness levels a major distraction and annoyance in most situations. In a so-called "tactical" light, I want bright light the moment I press the tail cap, not a half dozen presses later after I've cycled through the modes. Anyhow, this one is generally priced lower than the Skysted and works fine, however the fit and finish of the Skysted are better, and it is also quite a bit brighter.

I got tired and annoyed by multi-mode flashlights and bought this one. It has one straight button to on/off. Exactly how flashlights should be. You don't need to fumble with modes and waste time.The light is very bright. I don't have lumen measuring instrument. And I don't care that much to measure if their specified number is accurate. For me, it is super bright. I have a bunch of Li-ion 18650 and a charger compatible to this flashlight. You should keep at least one spare battery charged and available, just in case. This one won't take your other regular sized use-and-throw batteries.

i've used a 120lumen, single AA light for a few years in my job. i've found that the led's shade of light highlights hydraulic drips and gives excellent contrast in my environment. i wanted to step up in intensity and used a slim head tactical light. it worked good but switching it on and off and then having to cycle thru the functions to get back to the intensity i wanted was a pain.rooting around and asking recommendations on a single function LED flashlight that uses 18650 batteries. opinions varied as did the price. my criteria was 300lumen or better, 18650 compatible, single mode with a relatively tight beam but not spot or flood and aluminum bodied. this one fit all my criteria and hasnt disappointed. being an industrial mechanic, i'm tough on my tools but not abusive. this has handled drops to the floor from elevated positions, drops into full drip pans of #46 hydraulic oil and it hasnt skipped a beat.the light is bright, battery life is excellent and as with any LED light it does get warm when used for extended periods. being less than $15, it wont hurt my feelings (and wallet) if i were to do something that would kill it like a $100 light would.i'm considering getting more for carrying in my truck and as christmas presents. i know this is made in china but most every LED flashlight is these days except for the very high ends made in the USA.

I have two of these mounted at 11 o`clock on two ARs. they put out plenty of light, I can see well at about 60 yards & I have left them on while shooting to see if they would survive. sure I wish I had a coupla hundred extra bucks to install better lights, but these are working. no strobe, no dim, no SOS, its either on or off.

No complaints here. I use this a lot in an industrial environment. It's held up for the last month or so, but it is no 1000 lumen, more like 300 (maybe). Sometimes you gotta wonder how they get to '1000 lumens' spec.

Great general purpose flashlight. SINGLE MODE!!!!. Very very bright. I have tried a lot of flashlight and the 5 mode ones are mostly a pain to work with.

Being in Law Enforcement, I buy tons of tactical equipment, especially flashlights (can never have enough flashlights). I’ve bought MANY flashlights from Amazon, quoting these high lumen outputs and they were BS. Legitimately, I can’t believe how bright this flashlight is! On a half dead battery, it’s brighter than my “2000 lumen” flashlight I bought previously. If it doesn’t break immediately and lasts, I’ll DEFINITELY be buying more of these.

I bought one for myself and since then have bought 6 to give as inexpensive gifts. Nice size and very bright. Great to keep in coat pocket when walking the dog, one in the car but does not take up space, etc. Well made.
