Had this 4-5 months, still not installed, but looks like it will be great finally
So, I bought to divide a garage into sleeping spaces with a thermal drape. Rolled it out and laid if flat and taped it down for weeks. Several attempts to mount it on the ceiling with a turn in it failed because those helping me said, "it just won't turn the corner." I never looked at the directions myself. We cut it no problem, into 3 pieces. And one of the pieces was to hang along a wall to help deaden sound between walls. Instead, the owner added sound goo and soundboards to her wall and then built an insulated wall across the garage! So, I returned the thermal drapes and rolled this back up. Now we have a need to codon off two open spaces into private spaces within the house (we take in homeless people) so laid out the track again tonight. It was not coiled back up tightly and I looked at it and wondered exactly how it worked. The person helping me suggested it was being considered wrongly as there was no "lip" to slide anything into a track. So, I looked at the ad again and read the reviews again and thank you all for giving so much detail. My helper and I feel very comfortable that we can do this Monday. I have some beautiful drapes I purchased since then. We will hang it between two pillars in front of a formal raised dining room so that it will look elegant but do duty at night. I will post pics when we finally get to it. And probably change that 2 points on ease of installation to a 5 like other people have said. I have also read the description and the notes added by the company (please hire an English speaker to write your stuff!) and I say, "Plucky folks for keeping at it and seeming so far to be getting it right."

Great Product When Installed Correctly
I was skeptical at first when I ordered this product, thinking it would be too light-duty for what I wanted to do. I wanted to hang welding curtains in my work shop. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product did the job very well. There are a couple pointers I want to provide:1 - Install this product correctly. I used a 7/32" bit to drill the holes for the plastic drywall anchors. This was the right size so the anchors could be lightly tapped into the drywall. DO NOT just drill a small pilot hole and pound the anchors into the ceiling. You will bust out the back of the drywall and your installation will be weak.2 - Have patience when straightening the track. The track must be shipped as a coiled unit, and it has at thin metal bar embedded inside it. So you are not only straightening the plastic; you are also straightening the metal. It was 100F degrees when I straightened the track, so I think the heat helped me. Also I pulled the track around a 5-gallon bucket. That was a nice radius to help get it straight. Took me about 1-hour total to straighten 10 meters of track. Conclusion -- Great product for the money. I did not want to spend hundreds $ on commercial ceiling track. The welding curtains weigh 18 pounds total. When the curtains are stowed on one end of the track, all 18 pounds are hanging on two ceiling support brackets--(they handle it no problem).

Partitions for my wife's office
My wife needed partitions for her new office. I hung these for her to separate the massage chair, biomat and infrared sauna. Installation is simple and can easily be done by one person.Be careful when unrolling the track as you can break the plastic covering. Unroll it slowly or soak it in hot water as the directions indicate.Definitely recommend using this as a simple way to hang retractable curtians.

Would Purchase again. Relatively Easy Installation, but Straightening Track and Keeping Track straight not so much
This worked really well for hanging backdrops and tapestries from ceiling. The installation was relatively easy, I snapped a chalk line then installed the ceiling brackets. The track pretty much snaps in. The most difficult part of the installation was trying to straighten the track before hand. My installation has a few waves in it but it works well and looks pretty good.I have plaster walls and ceiling which made the installation a bit harder. The screws could and should be longer than they are for the ceiling mounts.Everything arrived in good condition, there was no damage to any portion of the flexible track.
