The Alex C Table/End Table/Laptop Stand, Solid Wood Top w/Black Welded Steel

Awesome little table that is the perfect height to slide over the couch to hold my wine glass or coffee mug. The table needed to be assembled, but it took me about five minutes to put together while drunk. The instructions were clear and the required allen wrench was included in the packaging; no other tools required. The table is beautiful and sturdy.

Glad I bought these tables. They are unique, sturdy and attractive. Easy, easy to assemble. They are, however, more gray-ish than brown-ish. Sadly, i foolishly believed other reviewers when they said the tables were unfinished (shoulda known but .. ). I didn't want gray, I wanted brown .. but I figured I could just slap a quick coat of stain on since they were, well, unfinished. They are NOT unfinished. They have a total matte finish with an unsanded, rough appearance (but tops are level) but the are most definitely sealed. Also worth a mention ... even though the wood is definitely solid wood and looks good, it has a "plastic feel" to the surface, even though you know they are wood. I have seen this before ... something in the processing/finishing process can make real wood feel like plastic and this sorta does. I do agree these are kind of expensive for what they are but there aren't many C-shaped tables in this style out there soooooo....

LOVE it!!! Arrived very well packaged. Thinking of getting another. Easy to assemble. Feels and looks like real wood. And it arrived much earlier than expected.

A nice product. The reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is that I didn't realize the supporting frame fit inside the wooden top. I thought that wood top was a solid block of wood and the metal supports mounted directly underneath, but rather the wood top is carved out. Nothing particularly wrong with this, but just makes the price feel steep for a cheaper feeling piece of reclaimed wood than I was expecting. This is just expectation setting, nothing more. Still a nice product.

This was a great purchase - super easy to put together - Allen wrench was included and is all you need. Holes were drilled correctly, so it only took about 10 minutes to assemble. The legs are very strong, thick metal. Reclaimed wood top is thick - previous review is correct that the underside is where the supports are screwed in - wood piece is more like a shallow box than a plank of wood. Regardless, it's real wood not flimsy particle board with a fake veneer. Perfect size for a drink, plate/bowl or book magazine. Fit perfectly between my sectional and the wall.

They are exactly what I wanted for my Livingroom! I love the look and adore the sturdiness! However be warned they tip over very easily. I still LOVE them!

This is a great item for tight spaces. We have a rather large TV room, but we all take up a lot ofspace between books, toys, puzzles and more. For this reason we have a big coffee table. This end table is great. Very resistant to the heavy traffic in this room. And small enough that it doesn’t take away excessive room space. I stared with one, and then I bought another. I’m considering a third end for my den.

I love the look of the reclaimed wood on top. I check the dimensions of at least 20 tables before selecting this one. It was easy to assemble, and looks very nice beside my bed. Perfect for laptop work from bed.
