Fairy fingers needed to thread the string
The lens cap itself seems perfectly good as a lens cap and fits happily across the front of an ancient 135mm lens. However I never did manage to thread the supplied string through the hole provided for it. At some point I will need to find some different string and/or make a bigger hole and/or, in the absence of a fairy, ask a child with tiny fingers to thread it.
