I've purchased this item summer 2023. It's last all of the fall semester and is in great shape for the spring 2024 semester. I can see why others say the quality is not so great. However I must say I'm gentle and care about my stuff. If it's $5 or $10,000 I treat my property with respect and care. So what I'm saying is don't expect to go off roading, camping, hiking, and skydiving with this thing and it'll last you awhile.

This thing took a beating through a 6-week / 3-month training that involved me flying back and forth to Maine from Texas. Most of the time I carried it on the plane so I could study while traveling, and then I often kinda chucked it into the back seat of a car and it held up. Still holds up! Has a nice set of filing folders in the front cover, and holds a thick 100+ page manual with each page in those plastic covers.Freakin' durable and beefy!

This case binder was exactly what I was looking for. It provides fantastic storage as my "teacher's binder", to sort all the lose paper and lesson plans. However, the bottom ring fit loosely from day one and it's even worse after use, so some of my bottom hole punches slip off. That's annoying, but I'm making due with it.

It works well.
